Maadniggerish song. When I was a young gromet I always thoughr if you say 'Dead Cat' 3 times really fast, what do you get??? Dickhead

Apparently this song was written on the grinners tour bus, when they ran over somehting in the bus, then they backed up to see what it was managing to run over it again and then once more as they drove on their way, so in effect they ran over the cat 3 times.

God I hate cats...

I once saw this Australian movie premiered on the ABC in which an Aussie guy falls in loe with an Afghani refugee. This song was used when they explained a prank of the dude's bogan mates who killed this blind asian's cat and than replaced it with aother cat only to kill that cat as well.

at falls festival phil gave the story to this song...i was rather drunken lol but the jist of it was they were going to score weed and happened to notice this roadkill cat on the freeway "down the centre of a highway line"... things kept going wrong with getting the weed so they had to drive back and forth and passed the same fucking cat three times

I think Phil must modify this story to suit... as I saw them play it live many years ago and he told a slightly different version of the story:

Basically he was hitch-hiking out of town one day and this guy in a van picks him up. They start driving and go past a cat squashed on the road (1), then a little down the road the guy remembers that he left his weed at home... so they drive back to town passing the cat on the way (2). After getting back to the town Phil and the driver smoke some weed and then get back on the road, passing the cat for a third time on the way out (3). Hence dead cat three times.
