We don't even talk anymore
And we don't even know what we argue about
Don't even say I love you no more
'Cause saying how we feel is no longer allowed

Some people work things out
And some just don't know how to change

Let's don't wait 'til the water runs dry
We might watch our whole lives pass us by
Let's don't wait 'til the water runs dry
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives
Don't do it, baby (ooh)

Now, no, now they can see the tears in our eyes, yeah
But we deny the pain that lies
Deep in our hearts
Well maybe that's a pain we can't hide
'Cause everybody knows that we're both torn apart

Why do we hurt each other?
Why do we push love away?

Let's don't wait 'til the water runs dry (no, no, baby)
We might watch our whole lives pass us by (we might watch our whole lives, yeah)
Let's don'tt wait 'til the water runs dry
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives
Don't do it, baby, ooh

Some people will work things out
And some just don't know how to change

Let's don't wait 'til the water runs dry (no, no)
We might watch our whole lives pass us by (oh, pass us by)
Let's don't wait 'til the water runs dry
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives
Don't do it, baby, ooh

Don't do it, baby
Don't do it, baby

This song is about two people who split up and have yet to rectify what broke them up in the first place. The persona is coming upon a moment of realization that if they don't attempt to fix this, then they could regret it terribly.

This is like all of Boys to Men's songs very meaningful, they always seem to tell story's the best they can in their songs, Usually their songs are about relationships as are most artists. They just seem to pull it of so beautifuly! they may be old school, HA, they are comming out with a new album soon too, but anyway, they may be old school but they are really really good old school!!!!!!! many memories!!

This is an amazing song. I still listen to this almost everyday. Boys II men are some of the most amazing song writers ever. This is one of the best break up songs to cry to.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
