In regards to the meaning of this song:
Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.”
That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.
You're a little bit shy
A little too quiet
You're the mixed up girl
That everybody leaves behind
A little bit weird
A little too bright
But you just might be
That little bomb at their side
They'll pull your hair
They'll leave you wide-eyed
But did anybody wonder
What Annie might have in mind
Oh, no
There's something in the way she explains to me
"Please be careful, I exist in someone else's head"
Oh, no
Something in the way that she makes believe
Please be careful
Annie dreams that everyone is dead
You're a little bit dry
A little uptight
You're the messed up girl
That everybody tries to hide
You've had enough
They're too unkind
But did anyone consider
What Annie might have in mind
Oh, no
Something in the way she explains to me
"Please be careful, I exist in someone else's head"
Oh, no
Something in the way that she makes believe
Please be careful

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
This one is about a girl who was made fun of that kills everyone. its similar to Pearl Jam's Jeremy.
Are you sure? Jeremy killed himself, not his classmates.

I don't think that the song implies that she kills anyone but more that she is plotting revenge. The little bomb at their side, as in she's going to explode and she can't keep it in any longer.
I love this song, our lady peace is so awesome. I think this song is about a girl who gets pisses off and wants to kill everyone. Similar to the way I feel a lot of times. Seriously, this song just brings a smile to my face.
It's just kind of a crazy girl concept. I don't think she actually kills anybody, she just thinks about it and is a little nutsi up top.
grin This is my theme song!
"Annie" was written a little bit before the shooting of Columbine...it wasn't meant to be about it, but it turns out to be. It's saying watch out who you are talking to and what you are saying because you don't know what kind of person they really are and what they are capable of.
Alright, this might sound weird, but i think this song is about a movie. The movie is called in dreams. Its really weird because the song goes right along with the movie. The movie is about this Lady that sees how people die before they do. And the reason she does is because she sees through this killers eyes its weird once you see the movie i think youll understand seriously check it out
Actually, I read where Raine explained what this song is about, i think it was on their site... it is about a girl whos sorta being teased and the like and she begins to hate her classmates, and the singer is supposed to be sort of like a person who begins to be weirded out by her intentions and becomes kinda scared of her, almost trying to warn people of her intentions, but no actions happen in the song
ya know the waoooo waoooo part of the song? the first two waooo's are like exactly the same as the first two waooo's in a different song sang by some other band...i'm thinkin early 90's late 80's but it's driving me crazy and i can't figure it out. so think about it...
