Sometimes, I feel so mechanized. my eyes are cauterized. It seems like nothing’s a surprise…somebody wake me. Enter, your promise of success But the value something less than this When all you pay is lip service. When you take over…I’m your pawn. When I sober…you’ll be gone. And I smolder. Spare me the hollow compliment. The spin on your intent. Lamenting all the time you spent…you have your reasons. Motives are hiding in disguise, but I see through your eyes, and it’s not the first time. Time’s up, I’m here to shut you out. You’re not the only route. Lip service can’t pay for my doubts.
