It seems kinda obvious that this was like, the very beginnings of On the Eigth Day, before it became On the Eigth Day. Both songs are incredible, but I find special meaning in this song right now because right now, I am the one who is hoping and praying that one day, that special girl will look at me, and will see the same thing she did about 3 weeks ago, before both our lives fell apart. Great song though, very meaningful. June Spirit, as always, writes incredible songs.
Dude but seriously, what does june spirit mean anyway? I mean I get that it is a reference to the hit movie kazaam starring shaquille o'neal as the genie, however, what does that have to do with hot air ballooning? I mean come on, get serious. I go to stanford. the university.

from what ive heard from the band, they named themselves the june spirit becos they started in june and they wanted to express the feeling of the begining of the summer full of hope and possibilities thus the june spirit, makes sense
This really has sum gr8 parts in it from "On The Eight Day" I love this song too. I like the way that this one is sang betta though. I think that it has more of an Emo sound to it. I love The June Spirit. They know how to make really good music. NEways I think that this is about a past relationship and that On The Eight Day seems more of a recnet relationship or a relationship between too people that is happening rite now. At least that's wut I get from it through the lyrics. I love this song! Till Then . . .
