    this song is ................... everybody. im sure everybody has felt like this, for example, most people can relate this to thier parents. thier never happy with what you give them, they 'burn what's left inside of me andd to fulfill your desire." parents just want us all to live up to thier standards. And im sure theres somebody in the world that wants to be like you, or wants to know you, and they try to say hello, but they dont really know you. Nobody knows you, but they all act like they do. this song is the truth. i cant really explain it all..... but heck, i tried.

    I think its a lot about punk culture, how people almost claim a band is theirs and believe a band should stick to punk principles. I think Davey is basically saying that they can do whatever they feel because no one owns them.

    one of my favorite afi songs..who am i kidding i love them all. anyways yah i agree with dieforthem and anyone else who says the same thing, i dunno i dont think this songs as hard to understand as some as the others. one of my friends used "so eager to say hello but you dont know me you just know what you see.." etc as his grad quote it will be sweet~

    arrghh i like the idea of fallchild5, i know so many girls like that, tell them to grow up,spit on them and then play a bad ass AFI song like this one "its all about hugs" hugs? RoyDrowsy please explain further i missed that interview.
