Qualms Of Reality Lyrics
Children are shoveled into enclosed solitude
in lack of value cause by minor defects
Each one an unsuitability
Outside the publics field of vision
While the rich swallows ostentation
Distorted minds screaming for consolation
The vanity of convenience rules the world
Who cares about rights
SO WHAT
If the world's a bit rude
The PROSPEROUS
Pay to keep it concealed
Leaving problems untouched because of fear
Hundreds in a room, staring with empty swollen eyes
Mutilated possibilities
Enslaved by INSANITY
strangles the subjecteds RIGHT
to a childhood of safety
NIGHTMARES But for real for ever engraved
in the minds of lost infancies
From this dying world of calumny
INFANTICIDE
A thousand souls a day flows away with the breeze
Underdeveloped twisted thoughts, trying to understand
Unfairly secluded by the prevailing injustices
that pushes this mentally ill world
over the edge of acceptance
Who cares about rights
SO WHAT
If the world's a bit rude
The PROSPEROUS
Pay to keep it concealed
Leaving problems untouched because of fear
ILLNESS FLOATING. SOULS IN PENURY, SOON TO FADE OUT-AGGRAVATION IN
CHARGE...BEMOAN OPPRESSION, EXTENSIVE CARNAGE BEHIND WALLS OF
UNCERTAINTY, WE'LL REALISE AS THE FLOODS OF INSIGHT COME DOWN

ostentation: a gaudy outward display calumny: a false accusation of an offense or a malicious misrepresentation of someone's words or actions penury: a state of extreme poverty or destitution
My first thought is that this song is talking about a specific event, as certain things seem to less pictoral and more real, like “children shoved into enclosed solitude in lack of value caused by minor defects”...”left to die on a bed of concrete”...”LOCKED UP”...”Hundreds in a room, staring with empty swollen eyes.” I guess it could relate to the Holocaust. But I guess the downside of writing songs in this sort of abstract rhetoric is that people aren’t going to know what you are talking about.
I also had an idea that this song could be concerning abortion, but then also thought that it could be about pollution. But who can say?
