I think this song is about getting used by someone that you love.
this song is about putting your problems on someone else so that you could take the weight off of your shoulders. You later realize that it hurt that person & you regret doing it in the first place...you feel bad & you tell the other person that they weren't the truely bad person, but you were... & you feel bad being apart from this person after what happened.
I think it's about letting girls crap all over you just cause being alone is even worse. All guys convince themselves that they really like a girl even when she a total buhitch just so they don't have to be alone.
