Uh, yeah
Swing
Nel
My dirty Jacob
Yeah, come on

Now if you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll
If you running your mouth, then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
If you gon' ride get inside, let's roll (it don't mean nothin', dirty)
If you're running your mouth then shut the door (I'ma keep grindin')
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me (it don't mean nothin', fool)
Were you the one that's on the grind (check it)
When it's you that's on the grind, dirty

They acting like they really want it with me, but trust me
They don't want it, they just want to be seen
They wanna disrupt my team with these publicity schemes
Tryna dismantle my panel with lies, rumors and scandals
But uh, I pull through it like I'm tugging a war
I tell you the situation like I've been here before
I'm still popping dirty, still smoking, point clicking
Watch the doors open, no joking, everything's remoting
No choking is needed, this ride is for free
No matter what you got, you dying for free
Automatically I'm focused like thirty-five millimetres
All of the sudden like such and such wants to meet us
All of the sudden like such and such wants to greet us
The same, one thing, believe us
Now, they're all tryna cheat us
In real life, they can't beat us
Sometimes, they tryna repeat us

Now if you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll
If you running your mouth, then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
If you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll (woo)
If you're running your mouth then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
When it's you that's on the grind, dirty

Why is they yacking like they fucking with these? I don't know
Why is they stunting like they holding the keys? tell me
Them type of people don't be holding no heat? no
Nigga, how the fuck they gon' be rolling with me?
Dude, how the hell you ain't gon' to wait your time? wait your time
Your mouth's gon' fuck around and going to waste your time, hey
I don't know no niggas' that ain't gon' grind
When its peso time, come out and take your shine, dirty
I'm the same nigga that's out of control (that's out of control)
Got the little Dillinger out on the road, ayy
The bigger it just got, the cali- the-co
I been cocking and loading it, I been popping them fours, yeah
Set that aside 'cause I've got to get those (got to get those)
The finest shit than what you're proud of me for, tell me
The dirty, either you going to ride or you don't
Inside there's more shit, if not, then we gone, nigga

Now if you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll
If you running your mouth, then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
If you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll (woo)
If you're running your mouth then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
When it's you that's on the grind, dirty (you tell 'em)

Watch me now, I'm spiffy now (come on)
Smoke sticky now and the misses' pick me now (you tell 'em)
Watch me now, I'm spiffy now
Smoke sticky now and the misses' pick me now

Well, if I said it, I've done it, if I've done it, I did it
And if I, and if I want it, if I don't then against it
The way that I should spend it, to get it just how I should
All money ain't good money but no money ain't good
I took the hood tactics and plot on the musical talents
Tryna create a balance in between Minnesota and Dallas
Never malice when I'm speaking, you peeping, just let me know
I'm guaranteed to keep it cracking, just like eggs hitting the floor, uh
I'm dotting, just wanna be, I ask, oh
Clipping the wings I wanna fly ass, oh
Only Q and D Miles can look down on me
Maybe, I should be-be in my head, I put it down, homie

Now if you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll
If you running your mouth, then shut my door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind? (When it's you that's on the grind)
If you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll (woo)
If you're running your mouth then shut my door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
When it's you that's on the grind, dirty

Now if you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll
If you running your mouth, then shut the door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
If you gon' ride, get inside, let's roll (woo)
If you're running your mouth then shut thr door (shut my door)
I ain't got nothing on my hands but time, tell me
Were you the one that's on the grind
When it's you that's on the grind, dirty (you tell 'em)

Watch me now, I'm spiffy now (come on)
Smoke sticky now and the misses' pick me now (you tell 'em)
Watch me now, I'm spiffy now
Smoke sticky now and the misses' pick me now, ayy

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
