"Dirty Back Road" as written by and Kate/schneider Pierson....
Ricky Wilson drivin', like a sports car
God I want you, like a fuel engine
Energized line, like a road
You ride me
Like a road
You ride me

Foot on the peddle
Feet in the air
Sand in my hair

Oh, don't look back
Don't look behind you
Reckless drivin' on
Dirty back Road

Ricky Wilson drivin', like a sports car
God I want you, like a fuel engine
Energized line, like a road
You ride me
Like a road
You ride me

Foot on the peddle
Feet in the air
Sand in my hair

Oh, don't look back
Don't look behind you
Reckless drivin' on
Dirty back Road

My OpinionI'm pretty sure it's "Reckless driving".
And yes, since the song was written by a band where all the male members are gay, I'd say it's safe to conjecture that the song is indeed an extended metaphor for gay (anal) sex. The B's love their double entendres! But it's a great song at face value. Sad, wistful, and erotic all at once. It's about how attraction can make you lose your common sense, like an out of control car.

General CommentAre there any other songs, by anyone, with lyrics that consist solely of 2 identical verses? OTTOMH, Another Brick in the Wall Part II comes close, though the verses (actually 2 verses and 2 choruses) are slightly different, and sung by different people (Roger Waters, and the kids' choir).

Song MeaningIt's worth noting that this song is likely written from a man's point of view, as it was written by the late (great) Ricky Wilson and Robert Waldrop.

Song MeaningBREAK FAST! - How did anyone get "Ricky Wilson"?

Anal intercourse? WHAT?! How did anyone come up with that? Bareback assriding? Gay or straight - that's not what they said or meant. Active imaginations.

Watch the interview with the B-52's and the video with Cindy singing it - no music - and pronouncing the words. Original MTV video shows the meaning. A vintage car flying down a dirt road with the lights ahead showing forward and only what's on the front sides. Billowing dirt and more road to keep going down. Fast. Rearview mirror gleaming. Daring the driver to look behind them. Nothing was shown going on in the backseat - or "behind anyone" - sexual or otherwise.
