Just Like Paradise Lyrics
Rockin' steady in her daddy's car
She got the stereo with the big guitars
And that's all right
All right
I got the itch and a restless soul
She gone with the wind
Gonna go for broke tonight
And that's all night
Girl, we've been meant for this
Since we were born
No problems now the coast is clear
It's just the calm before the storm
This must be just like livin' in paradise
And I don't want to go home
Suzy, Suzy, girl, for cryin' out loud
You got all the right moves
You make me eat my heart out nightly
And that's all right with me!
No special favors
Make it out to cash
We'll spend it later
Got to make this romace last
That's it, that's it
Some folks say "easy come is easy go"
And some folks say
But one night ain't enough for me
Girl, hang on tight and don't let go
This must be just like livin' in paradise
And I don't want to go home
And I ain't ever goin' home
She got the stereo with the big guitars
And that's all right
All right
She gone with the wind
Gonna go for broke tonight
And that's all night
Since we were born
No problems now the coast is clear
It's just the calm before the storm
And I don't want to go home
You got all the right moves
You make me eat my heart out nightly
And that's all right with me!
Make it out to cash
We'll spend it later
Got to make this romace last
That's it, that's it
And some folks say
But one night ain't enough for me
Girl, hang on tight and don't let go
And I don't want to go home
And I ain't ever goin' home

1 review thats it THIS IS A GOOD SONG!!!!
"Just Like Paradise" describes the events and feelings associated with youthful romance/adventure.
Amidst a whirlwind of images from the rock and roll era -- music blasting from the stereo of [Suzy's] "Daddy's car" -- the lyric's protagonist seeks some adventure ("I got the itch/ And a restless soul," with his romantic infatuation, Suzy.
The rock/pop-craft of "Just Like Paradise" is an 1980s update on the early-1960s 'California teen romance' songs by The Beach Boys. Roth had successfully covered The Beach Boys on 1985's "California Girls."
"Just Like Paradise" was presented to Roth by his keyboardist, Brett Tuggle -- ands produced using numerous tracks and overdubs by Steve Vai, Roth's guitarist, and Roth himself.
"Just Like Paradise" is the lead-off song to the musical "Rock of Ages."
