I gotta a little hunch
That there is somethin'
Goin' on now
The clothes I bought
The friends I got
My teacher had a meltdown

Then I look at me
And I start to see
An I voice inside
Tells me what I must do

Wake up who knew
It's me its you
Get a clue
It's there inside of you
The girls: oh yeah lets go
Get a clue
Theirs nothing can't do
Nothin's ever quite what it seems
Just look a little closer at me
Wake up who knew
Its me its you
Get a clue

That's the way it goes now
Did you ever see the world around you
Shift before your eyes
Your eyes, your eyes
The people you ignore before
They took you by surprise
Your eyes, your eyes

Then you look at me
And I start to see
That somethin' happens
When I'm next to you

Oh yeah, lets go
That's the way it goes now
Oh yeah, lets go
The first one came on a Tuesday afternoon
When I first saw you
The next one came to my surprise
When I found out what I had to do
Take a photograph of me
Hang it in a gallery
Sit around and watch tv
Turn around and then you'd look at me
Yeah, yeah

Yappapie
Oh yeah lets go
I gotta little hunch
That there is somethin'
Goin' on now
The clothes I bought
The friends I got
My teacher had a meltdown

Get a clue
It's there in side of you
The girls: oh yeah lets go
Get a clue
Theirs nothing you can't do
Nothings ever quite what it seems
Just look a little closer at me
Wake up who knew
Its me its you
Get a clue

Oh yeah lets go
Get a clue
Oh yeah lets go
Wake up who knew
Its me its you
Get a clue

Oh yeah lets go
That's the way it goes now
Oh yeah lets go
Wake up who knew
Its me its you
Get a clue

Anyone who watches Disney alot has at least heard of this song, or at least the movie of the same name of which it's based off of. It's a damn good song, and my girlfriend tells me it's about a guy who likes this girl but she doesn't like him back...and in other words: he should get a clue!

Still no clue? Well, maybe you've seen the music video for it. It's a weird cartoon type thing, and some versions feature parts of the movie by the same name. It features a little guy with a head that isn't connected to his body (Whoos-shing...Ting!, right Dawna? ;P) and a big muscular guy who only speaks the "That's the way it goes now" line. I'm sure someone out there has seen this before.

(P.S. If anyone wants to correct these, do so. The only line I am really not sure of is the very first line. Please feel free to rag on me if it's horribly obvious...Thanks.)

Well I believe this song is about friendship. You could have someone around you all the time and not realize that your in love with your best friend. Some of your best friends make the best b/f's or g/f's. WHo Knew??

i agree with static-x's biatch's friend (did that make any sense) about how the song is about this guy and how he's in love with some girl who doesnt feel the same, because i've seen the video and its pretty obvious. But, instead of saying "There's nothing you CAN'T do", doesnt it say ,"There's nothing you CAN do'?

I think it's kind of sad that the only people who like this song are disney fans. Most of y'all don't know that Simon and Milo are the same as Prozzak, they just changed their name. Also, it's really funny that they play a Prozzak song on the Disney Channel, cause a lot of Prozzak's songs aren't appropriate for children... like Shag Tag. Heh. What if a small child went and bought the CD because they liked this song, and then they're like, "Mommy, what's 'shag' mean?"? That'd be really funny, actually. Heh. Anyway, more power to the disney channel for playing Prozzak. They deserve more airtime.

Hey, it's me again. Do yourself a favor and pick up their CD that they released earlier this year. It's called 'Ready Ready Set Go' (Yes, TWO 'Readys'). It's got some good extras if you pop it in your CD-rom drive. It's only about $10.00 at Wal-Mart, and $12.99 at amazon.com! And yeah, their American (I suppose) name is Simon and Milo...but they go by Prozzak over "across the pond", as they say. :D Just so you all know.

I'm really glad that someone finally put the lyrics to this song on this site! I've been looking everywhere for these lyrics and none of the Simon and Milo or Prozzak sites had them yet! Thanks! This song is really great. I feel bad for Simon though because he never gets the girl.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
