This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.
There's something crazy, something strange about
The way I'm lazy and how I go about
Giving my time and how I reason
Do all my problems have to do with how I reason?
Don't feel bad if you haven't figured out
Cause I'm not mad there's really no need to shout
There's really no way you could have estimated
That you would ever in your life be so frustrated
If you knew what was good for you
You'd lock me up and throw away the key
You don't need me and no you never will
You never did as far as I can tell
Should I wake up and explain myself to you
Or should I not care and sleep the whole day thru
Finding the sense in everything
Is like going thru my head to find a diamond ring.
Living day by day is all that I can say
Something someone to believe in might be the
other way
We can't know for sure until we open the door
Inherent choices, choices I can't take anymore

Magical
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Somewhere Only We Know
Keane
Keane
Per the FAQ on Keane's website, Keane's drummer Richard Hughes, stated the following:
"We've been asked whether "Somewhere Only We Know" is about a specific place, and Tim has been saying that, for him, or us as individuals, it might be about a geographical space, or a feeling; it can mean something individual to each person, and they can interpret it to a memory of theirs... It's perhaps more of a theme rather than a specific message... Feelings that may be universal, without necessarily being totally specific to us, or a place, or a time..."
With the nostalgic sentiment and the overall tone of the song, I think Keane is attempting to express a Portuguese term known as 'saudade', which does not have a direct English translation but roughly means "that which we remember because it is gone."

Of Mice & Men
Of Mice & Men
This track is about is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else, “blue also meaning sad,” states frontman Aaron Pauley. “It's about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too.”
