they just point the finger they don't care
they don't think i know you think
where did i go wrong? what did i do?
where did i conflict with you?
you can't tell me that you care
when you're never ever there
i don't ask a lot from you
but you've got better things to do
i thought i knew you i don't know
do you just want me to go? cause i'll go
actions over words to you i'm nothing
you seem so far away where are you today?
don't just leave me in a box
then walk away
don't just put me in a box
for a rainy day
for a rainy day...

i like this song, i can relate with it.. it's like where you feel really let down by a person and you're like 'uhh.. what did i do?' hmm. and when you think you know a person, but they do something really unexpected.. yep, good song.

This is one of my fav MxPx songs. I can relate, its about people coming around when they need you, or when it's good time for them. Their actions tell you that they really dont care.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Sunglasses at Night
Corey Hart
In the 1980s, sunglasses were a common fashion for people who wanted to adopt a "tough guy" persona (note all the cop shows from that era -- Simon & Simon, Miami Vice, etc. -- where the lead characters wore shades). So I think this song is about a guy who wears shades as a way of hiding his insecurity after learning that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He's trying to pretend that he's a "tough guy" to hide the fact that his girlfriend's affair is disturbing him.
