"Satisfy You" as written by and Will Robinson Sheff....
I will satisfy you,
if there's one thing I can do.
How many come through
who satisfy you, who satisfy you,
who satisfy you?

Lock the slamming door.
Pull tight windows, closed.
You can be my spoiled rose
and I'll be your cold crow
shivering in the rain.

Time passes slow,
where does it go?
Come out of the cold
into the blankets rolled

cause now it's just we two
here in your bedroom.
After, I'll pay you
and go home in the cold
like I always do.

But until then I will satisfy you,
if there's one thing I can do.
How many come through for you
who satisfy you like I do?
Who satisfy you?

General CommentThis song is about this guy, who goes home to this prostitute. He seems sad and desperate, living an sad life where his always goes home in the cold, ...sad.
This is one of my favorite Okkervil Rivers songs.
