Baby girl, where you at?
Got no strings, got men attached
Can't stop that feelin' for long no
You makin' dogs want to beg
Breaking them off your fancy legs
But they make you feel right at home, now

See all these illusions just take us too long
(Oh) And I want it bad
Because you walk pretty,
Because you talk pretty,
'Cause you make me sick
And I'm not leavin', till you're leavin'

Oh I swear there's something when she's pumpin',
Asking for a raise
(Oh) Well does she want me to carry her home now?
(Oh) So does she want me to buy her things?
On my house, on my job
On my loot, shoes, my shirt,
My crew, my mind, my father's last name?

When I get you alone ('lone)
When I get you you'll know baby (know)
When I get you alone ('lone)
When I get you alone now (it's all mine)

(Ah oh)
Come on
Oh yeah-yeah

Baby girl you da shit
That makes you my equivalent
Well you can keep your toys in the drawer tonight,
All right
All my dogs talkin' fast
Ain't you got some photographs?
'Cause you shook that room like a star, now
Yes you did, oh

General CommentThe backing is actually "A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band. Yes, it's disco.

General Commentyea i think the first time its said its "because you walk pretty, because talk pretty" then the other time it says "walk city, talk city" then the other times its "walk pretty, talk pretty" but either way its a awesome song. i think Robin sounds like Jc Chasez, dont u think?

General CommentAh, hmm. I always thought the second verse was "...because you walk silly, because you talk silly..." *shrug* Still it's a song I'm addicted to nontheless. This song needs no interpretation, it's just great overall. C'mon, don't we all love Alan Thicke (from the Growing Pains)'s son? I do!! I can't even ride a bike, let alone, SING on a bike, WITH a bag, IN the city, HOPPING up and down, JUMPING over cars..*sigh* So perfect, so perfect ^__^

General CommentI love this song. It makes me feel like dancing and being very flirty and sexy. This song just plays over and over in my head all day. Also.. Robin is pretty hot so that helps.

General CommentI totally dig on this song.... But I thought the second verse lyric was "Because you talk City, because you walk City, ect...". I mean the video is shot in NYC, it would make sense, no?

General CommentI just wanna say that it's cool other people are into him and WildCherry did a good job with the lyrics. But I think it's "talk city...walk city..." cause it makes more sense than silly to me. But I dunno, songs don't always make sense.
