Skateboard Worldchampionships 2000 in Dortmund / Germany.. and A was playing "I love lake tahoe".. I will never forget that very special moment in the pit. I've nearly never had such a good time :)
Well it obviously about the band liking Lake Tahoe and going there every year.. Can i just say "woe-one" i couldnt give a shit how great seeing them in Germany was.. because 1) ppl only go to germany to get laid and 2) i've seen them 5 times and that makes me a better fan than anyone... yes i am the no 1 FAN!! (joke)
It's not a bad song, but I don't think this is A's best song, far from it, it's above average and best heard live. It's about their fabourite holiday resort, the Tahoe Lakes. :crazy:
I've never heard the actual song, but you know what, I have to chime in on what it's meaning is.
It's about Lake Tahoe. If you've ever been to Lake Tahoe, you understand that it is a REALLY beautiful place and it just has a lot of natural allure and a very laid-back atmosphere. I would live there if I could; it's just that good.
Heavenly is the main ski resort up there (also known as the place Sonny Bono died). Squaw Valley is also there (actually it's on the opposite side of the lake from Heavenly). I definitely know that I can honestly agree with A on this... Tahoe is an awesome place.
My main beef is that the structure of the lyrics seems more than a little contrived and that it just all seems too black and white for my tastes.
