When you have no one
No one can hurt you
When you have no one
No one can hurt you

In the corner there is light
That is good for you
And behind you, I have warned you
There are awful things

Will you miss me when I burn
And will you eye me with a longing?
It is longing that I feel
To be missed or to be real

When you have no one
No one can hurt you
When you have no one
No one can hurt you

Will you miss me when I burn
And will you close the others' eyes
It would be such a favor
If you would blind them

There is absence, there is lack
There are wolves here abound
You will miss me
When I turn around

When you have no one
No one can hurt you
When you have no one
No one can hurt you

    My Interpretation
I think this song is basically about dealing with a post breakup depression. "When you have no one, no one can hurt you" He finds comfort in, and accepts his solitude...basically knows its for the best. "In the corner there is light that is good for you and behind you,I have warned you there are awful things" He's thinking about finding new love, but still feels the pain of his previous relationship. "Will you miss me when I burn and will you eye me with a longing? It is longing that I feel to be missed or to be real" Wondering if she is thinking about him. Wonders if he is missed as much as he misses her. "Will you miss me when I burn, and will you close the others' eyes it would be such a favor if you would blind them" This basically deals with jealousy of lost love. He doesn't want to see or hear about "his" former girlfriend dating anyone so soon. "There is absence, there is lack, there are wolves here abound you will miss me when I turn around" Basically deals with the loneliness and the realization that there may not be any relief from his misery or replacement of what was lost.

    General Comment
These are the things you tell yourself when you are lonely and isolated. To make yourself feel better, you try to think of reasons why it might be better to be alone (When you have no one/no one can hurt you). Of course, none of it is true. Human beings are social creatures in need of love and friendship.

Another Love

I think the meaning is pretty clear. This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. It's lovely song, and very sad. You can really feel how defeated and frustrated he is with himself.

Somewhere Only We Know
Keane
Per the FAQ on Keane's website, Keane's drummer Richard Hughes, stated the following: "We've been asked whether "Somewhere Only We Know" is about a specific place, and Tim has been saying that, for him, or us as individuals, it might be about a geographical space, or a feeling; it can mean something individual to each person, and they can interpret it to a memory of theirs... It's perhaps more of a theme rather than a specific message... Feelings that may be universal, without necessarily being totally specific to us, or a place, or a time..." With the nostalgic sentiment and the overall tone of the song, I think Keane is attempting to express a Portuguese term known as 'saudade', which does not have a direct English translation but roughly means "that which we remember because it is gone."

Zombie
Cranberries, The
"Zombie" is about the ethno-political conflict in Ireland. This is obvious if you know anything of the singer (Dolores O'Riordan)'s Irish heritage and understood the "1916" Easter Rising reference. "Another head hangs lowly Child is slowly taken And the violence caused such silence Who are we mistaken - Another mother's breaking Heart is taking over" Laments the Warrington bomb attacks in which two children were fatally injured on March 23rd, 1993. Twelve year old Tim Parry was taken off life support with permission from his mother after five days in the hospital, virtually braindead. "But you see it's not me It's not my family" References how people who are not directly involved with the violence feel about it. They are "zombies" without sympathy who refuse to take action while others suffer.
