well, we met at the food court in the mall
she was in line at arbys, 'n i was sippin on a malt
such a lovely girl, i walked up to her
'i wanna make you mine and buy you diamonds and pearls'
she gave me her pager number and said 'beep me sometime'
right there i knew that this girl was mine
you're my number one girl, the best in the world
you're the 'ish to me, forget the other girls

biznitch.. my biznitch is the shiznit (x2)

i was doing cannonballs at the ymca
she came up to me and said 'hey, no horseplay'
so i got out the pool like i was the man
cruised on over to her lifeguard stand
i asked for her number, maybe call her sometime
she looked at me, smiled and said 'fine'
you're the number one girl, the best in the world
you're the 'ish to me, forget the other girls

biznitch.. my biznitch is the shiznit (x2)

well you know my biznitch is the shiznit
all the fellas jealous that she mind their own business
i've only got eyes for one girl
she's the one that really rocked my world
every date with me she makes her love stronger
when she's not by my side all i do is wander
she's my number one girl, the best in the world
she's the 'ish to me, forget the other girls

biznitch.. my biznitch is the shiznit (x5)

Actually, this isn't even Tenacious D's song!!!!!!! I believe that Corky and the Juicepigs sing it.

I think that War_Elephant means that Corky do the only version. For all I know, he's right. I refuse to support Jack Black and his current habit of being liked by EMO kids.

What the hell? You refuse to support someone because of who likes them? How superficial do you have to be to get to that point? "I don't like tenacious d because emo kids do" so what? Why don't you just like music for the MUSIC, not for who likes it? How lame...

this song isnt made by tenacious d....cos it sucks, and they arent into making songs that suck. i couldnt give a toss about who sings it anyway, but i was curious as to why it was hear cos ive heard it, and was sure it wasnt a tenacious d song. oh, and blind opious....you aught to start valueing music on its content not on whats popular and whats not, you obviously care far too much about what other people think of you

I refuse to support him because I'm trying to ween him off them. Eventually, he'll come back to his real love.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
