I see you every day
But I turn my eyes away
Cuz if you cant be mine
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time
I see you every day
But I turn my eyes away
Cuz if you cant be mine
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time

I see you now and then
But I look away again
Cuz I’m not the one your for
I don’t wanna suffer anymore
I don’t wanna suffer anymore
I see you now and then
But I look away again
Cuz I’m not the one your for
I don’t wanna suffer anymore
I don’t wanna suffer anymore
I don’t wanna suffer anymore
I don’t wanna suffer anymore

I know the end is near
But it has been since the start
But that still doesn’t mean
That I can keep you from my heart
That I can keep you from my heart
I know the end is near
But it has been since the start
But that still doesn’t mean
That I can keep you from my heart
That I can keep you from my heart
I couldn’t keep you from my heart
I couldn’t keep you from my heart

I see you every day
But I turn my eyes away
Cuz if you cant be mine
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time
I see you every day
But I turn my eyes away
Cuz if you cant be mine
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time
I don’t wanna waste my time

This is truly my favorite ozma song, its about that girl who your enfatuated with but wont have you, because she loves somone else and how frustrating it is to be in the situation.

"I know the end is near But it has been since the start But that still doesn’t mean That I can keep you from my heart That I can keep you from my heart I couldn’t keep you from my heart I couldn’t keep you from my heart"

This kinda states that no matter what, you fall for who you fall for and nothing will change it...

I can't believe more people haven't commented on this. Ozma's songs have a BIG way of hitting so close to home w/ me...and this song definately stands out. All about having to see that person you care about and how it hurts to even look at them. It's intense. It's all about trying to move on b/c you know it's the "best thing" for you.

I love this song so much. There are some songs where it seems that the person who wrote it was thinking about your situation, but then (with this song) you realize anyone with a crush could relate to this.

Its good, but I think they did it a little to fast, the acoustic version is great though.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
