I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
This is War
I Lie Wounded on Wintery Ground
With Hundred of Corpses around
Many Wounded Crawl Helplessly around
On the Blood Red Snowy Ground
War
Cries of the (ha, ha) Suffering Sound
Cries for Help to All Their Dear Moms
War
Many Hours of Music
Many Drops of Blood
Many Shiverings and Now I Am Dead
And Still We Must Never Give up
War
I Lie Wounded on Wintery Ground
With Hundred of Corpses around
Many Wounded Crawl Helplessly around
On the Blood Red Snowy Ground
War
Cries of the (ha, ha) Suffering Sound
Cries for Help to All Their Dear Moms
War
Many Hours of Music
Many Drops of Blood
Many Shiverings and Now I Am Dead
And Still We Must Never Give up
War

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Another Love
Tom Odell
Tom Odell
I think the meaning is pretty clear. This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. It's lovely song, and very sad. You can really feel how defeated and frustrated he is with himself.

Zombie
Cranberries, The
Cranberries, The
"Zombie" is about the ethno-political conflict in Ireland. This is obvious if you know anything of the singer (Dolores O'Riordan)'s Irish heritage and understood the "1916" Easter Rising reference.
"Another head hangs lowly
Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken
-
Another mother's breaking
Heart is taking over"
Laments the Warrington bomb attacks in which two children were fatally injured on March 23rd, 1993. Twelve year old Tim Parry was taken off life support with permission from his mother after five days in the hospital, virtually braindead.
"But you see it's not me
It's not my family"
References how people who are not directly involved with the violence feel about it. They are "zombies" without sympathy who refuse to take action while others suffer.

Sunglasses at Night

In the 1980s, sunglasses were a common fashion for people who wanted to adopt a "tough guy" persona (note all the cop shows from that era -- Simon & Simon, Miami Vice, etc. -- where the lead characters wore shades). So I think this song is about a guy who wears shades as a way of hiding his insecurity after learning that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He's trying to pretend that he's a "tough guy" to hide the fact that his girlfriend's affair is disturbing him.
I agree paperxwrists. I like rocking out to this song, it kicks ass.
I think the song paints a scene of either world war 1 or 2 in Europe.
"I Lie Wounded on Wintery Ground With Hundred of Corpses around Many Wounded Crawl Helplessly around On the Blood Red Snowy Ground "
Probably lying in no mans land.
Such an awesome guitar solo at the end.
haha.. varg is nuts Great music for one person in their basement.. vocals are so unclear it's hillarious.. i really couldn't tell what he was saying until i read the lyrics... only way to do it
Varg sings like a cat being raped but i'm not gonna tell him to his face. That guy is fucking mental.
Supposedly, the riffs for this song were more or less copied from Root's "Piseo pro Satana," or so I've heard.
Anyone else notice how similar the keyboard in "Paschendale" by Iron Maiden is to the main riff of this song? I think it's entirely coincidence as it's fairly simple, but I still find it interesting since the two bands are so different.
And Varg isn't mental, he's a misguided and stubborn genius. Not that I advocate his murder or church burnings at all. I think it's tragic that those are what he put his mind to.
yes, Varg is a mentalist
War is a favorite Burzum composition for many people, and yet it is the most alien of all Burzum songs. Euronymous plays the solo.
burzum is a really good band...or should i say Varg's is a good musician? i really love his lyrical concepts and his music is really good coming from a one man band. although i think i can hear him coughing in this song...oh well, can't help that.
wwell if u read the views on burzum and varg himself you would find, that all u guys r saying is wrong varg is not a nazi and never was, and if u don't like his singing guess u shouldn't be liseting to burzum that wat burzum all about being some wat diferent and magic fuck faces
