The pressure is building I want to break away
Motivation is lacking the point starts to fade
I look to the bottom still empty still the same
I'm waiting for something to show me the way

To the path that I should take, it's just too real to go ahead and fake
Every step that I make
Name your price I would give anything
I want to start over again
What do I want I have nothing to say
Whatever it is I want it today
Do we choose our own ground Do we choose to stay
Well I've seen too many throw it away

Do I see just one small chance to be myself to try and make it last
Every step that I take

I almost wondered if this song was about being someone else in a relationship; like pretending to be someone you aren't to make the other person happy and realize that it's not worth it and you want to start over with the person as your own self and not the person that the other person wants you to be. Just my thought

This song is great! "Motivation is lacking" obviously they don't care anymore about what they do with nothing to push them on. "its just too real to go ahead and fake" it sounds like they are saying hey I've finally got to the lowest point I can get so there is no use trying to be fake and pretend that its okay. At the end I really liked "Do see just one small chance to be myself to tryto make it last" It's like this person really wants to be themself, and to be happy with it. They are hoping that with this new beginning they can accept themself.

I don't think it's a coincidence that this is the last song on the CD.

Yeah I agree w/ Kylm.. but I interpret it as his own insecurites within a relationship. "Do we choose our own ground, do we choose to stay?" I absolutely love this song.. it's my 2nd fav. by Trapt after Echo!

@ E - DOuble, I think the sounds at the end symbolize the breakdown of everything the song's about: life.

I think it's supposed to be a "hidden track." It was probably accidently added during post-production.

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
