The misty highs we climb
A search through fear disguised
These sudden facts can make you hollow

When checked this life derived
From barren scapes behind
Where he supposedly hides
In a place to waste, a place to wallow
With this precious time and the end being nigh
Saw the path leading back from a private notion

As winter blooms, the Fall unmasks
Spring presides that the Summer is mine

And as it goes sometimes you wake up...

General CommentAgain, as in the case of Seagulls, this song is about an opiate trip and the way that when you are on an opiate, you feel as if you are dreaming, and then suddenly "wake up" from the experience, much like being in some sort of twilight sleep.

General Commentthis song is a demo. . . from the days before Renn, Carlton, Craig, Jay or Ashburn. . . when Deadsy consisted of only Alec & Ellijah.. hence it's abrupt ending.
