    I think the lyric that best sums up the song is I never drew first but i drew first blood I never started it I finished it Relates right back to the story of Young Guns

    I have the 'movie version' of this song, where a quote from the movie has been added at the start... "William H Bonney, you are not a God!" "Why dont you pull the trigger and find out..." Adds just that little bit to the song I think..Top song, and even better for fans of the story of Billy the Kid, William H Bonney.

    this is about a guy whos had a hard life, probably done time or fucked up in some way or another who knows that his time is coming to an end and wants to die honourably, "i've lived life to it's fullest, let this boy die like a man"
