right, so i think this song is about being the other man and feeling like the odd one out because the girl can't make up her mind between you and her current sig. other. it's a pretty shitty feeling, it happens to me over and over and i sort of want it to stop.

this song describes the guy i really like right now. ah, although it makes me cry, its so beautiful.
The singer being the odd man out and the girl not being able to choose who she loves is only part of the song. Don't forgot the singers inner turmoil as he considers if she would love him more if he were different.
