Woo
Here's a little song for everybody out there

People try to take my soul away
But I don't hear the rap that they all say
They try to tell us we don't belong
That's alright, we're millions strong
This is my music, it makes me proud
These are my people and this is my crowd

These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights

Sometimes days are so hard to survive, oh yeah
A million ways to bury you alive, hey
The sun goes down like a bad bad dream
You're wound up tight, gotta let off steam
They say they can break you again and again
If life is a radio, turn up to ten

These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (ooh)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (come on)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (yeah, woo)

And they try to tell us that we don't belong
But that's alright, we're millions strong
You are my people, you are my crowd
This is our music, we love it loud
Yeah, and nobody's going to change me
'Cause that's who I am

These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (oh yeah)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (whoa)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (yeah, yeah)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (hey)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (yeah)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights (come on)
These are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy nights

well the start say abiut they dont care what people say and that they r proud to do their own musuic their own style for example (But I don't hear the rap that they all say ) but they doin their music for the true fans not for any1 else(These are my people and this is my crowd )

and i think it on about how hard it was for them (Sometimes days are so hard to survive )

The first comment said it's a little cheesy, well it's not any cheasier than Shout it Out Loud, which is played at every show. I don't get why Gene and Paul have completely written off this song (and the album). This was a pretty successful song, so why don't they play it live?

As for what the song's about, it's most likely about standing up for yourself.

This song is about loving the kind of music that you like and not caring about what other people think about it. Sometimes people try to criticize your tastes ("They try to tell us we don't belong") for various reasons (in this case, heavy, glamorized rock). Back then, KISS was probably criticized for their over-theatricality and heavy music and labelled by some people as meaningless garbage. But KISS ignored them ("I don't hear the rap that they all say") because they had a strong fan base and were clearly doing something right. In this song, KISS doesn't care about the critics because they only care about the people who like them, and if people don't like them, well then they don't have to listen to them. ("You are my people, you are my crowd, this is our music, we love it loud") And perhaps the biggest message that they're trying to get across is that this is who they are, and their tastes are their tastes and won't change, so either jump on board or just leave it alone. ("Yeah, and nobody's gonna change me, 'cause that's who I am ") In short, this song's about not caring about what other people think of your tastes because that's you are and you won't change for them.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
