Into this world
Little boy brave
Charity heart
Faithfully plays
Heal the scars
Unto his eyes
Salvage the goodness
Of dreams never lived
Dreams never died
Again and again
Again and again
Haunted by the trust of a child
With no place to go now
Little boy brave
Wanders the streets
Faithfully plays
But his broken arrows
Once filled with pride
Aimed and missed
At the dreams never lived
Dreams never died
Again and again
Again and again
Haunted by the trust of a child
Never give in
Never give up
Little boy brave
Never lived
Never died
Appears to be
Blind Revolution Mad
The mercy ends
Where the mercy began
Seems justified
I'm turnin' this around
Jawbreaker Lawmaker
Have it your way
Campaign smokescreen
Glorifies the mainstream
Cities on remote control
Meanwhile vigilante gangs
Dig their fangs into the streets
They've overthrown
While plastic faces
Run for king of this
Disassociation land
I'm dying to find
Anyone who understands
Behold........
One more Blind Revolution Mad
One more chance of a lifetime
Rage runs rampant
Always been abandoned
Killin' for some pocket change
Blames being force fed rules
Governed by fools
Slammin' you against the grain
And the nation's glued to CNN
To watch their own creation
Behold
One more Blind Revolution Mad
One more chance of a lifetime
One more Blind Revolution Mad
Fee Fi Fo Fum
One for all and all for one
Don't try to stop me
I've already gone crazy
One for all and all for one
Overthrow your kingdom come
Don't try to stop me
You're the reason I'm crazy
Behold
One more Blind Revolution Mad
One more chance of a lifetime
One more Blind Revolution Mad
Mind in the gutter turned another boy bad
Oh behold
One more Blind Revolution Mad
One more chance of a lifetime
One more Blind Revolution Mad
Little boy brave

Faithfully plays

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
No Surprises

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
Magical
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
What a great rocking song and nobody knows or hears it. Musically it's awesome, the guitar work is so cool in this song. Like from the lush soothing strumming on the first verse, then growing into an aggressive hard rocking inferno, just great work! And Kip's vocals are phenomenal. This song should've been one of the greatest songs ever, among the best ones like Guns N Roses "Welcome to the Jungle" and other greatest hits like that. It deserves just much better really. But, anyway, as far as the song's meaning goes here, I think it's got a political message there. It's about the decay of our society. A depressing look at the world gone mad we're living in. Powerful stuff. Still relates to our times, the song didn't get outdated yet. We still got CNN on :))
I love how far off people can be about song meanings. The best part is people thinking that a song written 17 years ago is about the current president.
The song is about the L.A. Riots. Think about it, and stop trying to make it apply to your own agenda.

This was written shortly after the LA riots of the early 90's. It's about gang violence to a small degree but it's mostly about how the general population of the US is to blame for the conditions that led to the riots because of their willful ignorance towards them. This despite their being glued to CNN 24/7 watching the result of that ignorance unfold before their eyes.
Meanwhile nothing gets better for those stuck in oppressive situations. Just more potential wasted because nobody cares enough to give a shit. It's that ignorance that led to even more racism and oppression, and eventually to the riots that have been going on all across the US since 2019.
" And the nation's glued to CNN To watch their own creation "
I think this is song is more than ever relevant today. I think it is telling us that politics is all a lie, a way of deceiving the people. "Blind Revolution Mad" is what has just happened in America - The people are Blind, they think they had a Revolution with the election of Obama, and it's all Madness! Obama is "their own creation" - the creation of the global power elite, who control CNN. See the movie "The Obama Deception", - get it off Emule. And then open your eyes, reasearch the Bilderberg group - politics, it's all a con!
The song goes hand in hand with the 7th track, "In For the Kill" - which is precisely what Obama is doing in Afghanistan and Pakistan (and indirectly in Palestine).
We people need to wke up! Thanks Winger!
