"Fade In-Out" as written by and Noel Gallagher....
(Said, let's go)
(One, two, three, four)

Get on the roller coaster, the fair's in town today
You gotta be bad enough to beat the brave
So get on the helter skelter, bowl into the fray
You gotta be bad enough to beat the brave

You fade in-out
You fade in-out
Without a doubt
I don't see no shine
Today is just a daydream
Tomorrow we'll be castaway

Comin' in out of nowhere, singin' rhapsody
You gotta be bad enough to wanna be
Sittin' upside a high-chair, the devil's refugee
Is gonna be blinded by the light that follows me

She fade in-out
She fade in-out
Without a doubt
I don't see no shine
Today is just a daydream
Tomorrow she'll be cast away

(Ah!)

We fade in-out
We fade in-out
Without a doubt
I don't see no shine
Today is just a daydream
Tomorrow you'll be cast away

So get on the roller coaster, the fair's in town today
You gotta be bad enough to meet the brave
Get on the helter skelter, step into the fray
You gotta be bad enough to beat the brave

You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out
You fade in-out

General CommentJohnny Depp played slide guitar on this track, not lead. You think Noel would give up the lead? no way!

General CommentThis song's great, I don't know why people slated Be Here Now so much. I think Johnny Depp played guitar on this track as well.

General CommentThe only reason why I'm commenting on this song is because Johnny Depp played guitars on it!! I don't think the guy gets enough credit for his talent with a guitar. He can certainly play.

General Commentone of the fery few good songs on be here now, the reason people slated it stylus is cos its shite, noel even said so, come on 'girl in the dirty shirt?!' probably their first attempt at a blues song, and not bad, the slide guitar from mr Depp definately adds something that would have been very conspicuously absent had noel tried to fill it. Good guitarist in terms of oasis, but on a grander scale, pretty lead fingered! Still cool song!

General Commentthis song had so much potential but they just stuffed around with the recording. If they had taken the definitely maybe way with this song and just gone for simple guitar tracks then we could be looking at one of their greatest ever songs. Having said that noel does a brilliant live version of this as a combination with setting sun. The lyrics for this song are awesome. Sounds like its about how people are constantly coming and going in and out of our lives.
