So much to believe in, we were lost in time
Everything I needed fell into your eyes
Always thought of keeping your heart next to mine
But now that seems so far away
Don't know how love could leave without a trace
Where do silent hearts go?

Where does my heart beat now?
Where is the sound
That only echoes through the night?
Where does my heart beat now?
I can't live without
Without feeling it inside
Where do all the lonely hearts go?

Candle in the water, drifting helplessly
Hiding from the thunder, come and rescue me
Driven by the hunger of the endless dream
I'm searching for the hand that I can hold
I'm reaching for the arms that let me know
Where do silent hearts go?

Where does my heart beat now?
Where is the sound
That only echoes through the night?
Where does my heart beat now?
I can't live without
Without feeling it inside
Where do all the lonely hearts go?
Where do all the lonely hearts go?

Then one touch overcomes the silence
Love still survives
Two hearts needing one another
Give me wings to fly

Where does my heart beat now?
Where is the sound
That only echoes through the night?
Where does my heart beat now?
I can't live without
Without feeling it inside, oh

I need someone to give my heart to
I feel it getting stronger and stronger and stronger, yeah
And I feel it inside
Hearts are made to last
'Til the end of time

This is truly one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. it's about a woman who's boyfriend of husband leaves and she feel depressed, like she's all alone, and her heart's stopped beating. This song reminds me of the book New Moon, when Bella's (vampire) boyfriend leaves, and she basically goes crazy, waiting for him.

    My Interpretation

If you've ever truly been in love with someone that gave you such joy, security, and happiness that you felt this is the one and you really feel better and happier around them..that 1st line "So much to believe in, we were lost in time" and they love you a lot maybe just as much and then you realize after you see them wanting to spend less time with you on the weekends or at night and you realize they really don't want you as a husband or even a boyfriend. Your relationship with them has run it's course, just like a class or degree they were getting and now they're ready to end it. When it ends, it's over, just like their time in college, they move on and because they didn't want you, so do you..it's heartbreaking, but the last part to me is what makes this song so comforting and great..the lyrics are off a little because at the last part she says she "needs someone to give my heart to" not got...so she's still looking, but she says she feels it getting stronger inside herself and that's the way you need to look at life. It's your heart and it's inside you, that's where it is, inside you. To me this song says Value Yourself and Value Love. It's great to feel head over heels for someone, but if they don't feel the same about you, don't ever let them take your heart with you or leave it with them..Take it with you, your love is of great value and it's in you. Oh I love Celine so much..what a great song.

Falling in love with someone and feeling so much love and happiness, but before you know it, that person leaves you and don't even really know why. You feel so much pain, confusion and fear. Without love you feel helpless, lonely, scared and depressed. You need to have someone give you that love again. You search for that love, wondering where is that person who will make my heart beat again?

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Trouble Breathing
Alkaline Trio
While the obvious connections with suicide or alcoholism could be drawn easily, more subtly this song could be about someone who views the world through a negative lens constantly and how as much as the writer tries to show the beauty in the world, this person refuses to see it. It's one or another between the rope and the bottle. There is no good option for this person. They can't see it. Skiba sings it in a kind of exasperated way like He's tired of hearing this negative view constantly and just allowing that person to continue feeling the way they feel knowing he can't do anything about it. You can hear it when he says maybe you're a vampire.

Of Mice & Men
This track is about is about questioning why the sky would choose to be blue if it had the choice to be anything else, “blue also meaning sad,” states frontman Aaron Pauley. “It's about comforting a loved one in a time of loss by telling them you feel blue, too.”
