Sleepwalking Tedium

Sleepwalking on the clock,
my knee’s are giving way.
My ears are ringing,
my life is wasting.
From 9 to 5, this is where I’ll remain.
I want to go home, my ears are still ringing.
Its hard to find a way out.
I always thought I could avoid this.
This Tedium.
I’ll slouch my head in public,
and I’ll break my back in two.
Because breaking my back is all I can do.
New York minutes pass like middle America seconds.
