I'm the sidekick
The mimic
Ventriloquistic
(My lips moved) and you missed it
I need to know the mystery
Of your misery
(Give me some of that) magic
(I want to be) I want to be tragic

I wish I could just Xerox
(This is the paradox)
(You're waves) You're waves (in my brain) in my brain
(We could be) We could be one and the same
(Deep) Deep and meaningful artistic endeavor
(It's plain) it's plain (disdain) disdain
Makes you look clever

Everybody wants to be like you
Ah, show me what to do
Everybody wants to feel the way you do
Me too

I must fulfill my destiny
(Feel the force) Feel the force of your fury
Cock sure, you're a genius
Give me some (Give me some), reflect your glory
(All knowing) All knowing, (all bleeding) all bleeding
(I can dig it) I can dig it, Daddio
Tell me, show me, which way to go
(I really want to know)

Everybody wants to be like you
Ah, show me what to do
Everybody wants to feel the way you do
Me too

Everybody wants to be like you
Ah, show me what to do
Everybody wants to feel the way you do
Me too

Everybody wants to be like you
Ah, tell me what to do
Everybody wants to feel the way you do
Take me with you

Ah, show me what to do

Me too, take me with you (ah), take me with you (ah)

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
