[Verse 1]
Hello baby
how was your day at work
I bet you're tired
so just sit down
and take a load off for awhile
here's a little back rub
tell me when it gets to be too much
by the way supper's almost done

[Verse 2]
Oh and I know you're probably thinking
that I've done something wrong
'cause it's been so long
since I've done anything for you like this baby
it's just that I've finally had a day off
to get caught up with the one that I love

[Chorus]
I'll do anything you want
do anything you ask
to try to make things easier
you're wish is my command
I'll do anything you want
whatever you desire
and I know it may seem odd
but if you ask me why
I'll tell you why
no particular reason hey
'cause I just felt like doin' somethin' nice for you today

[Verse 3]
There's no woman in this world
let's go upstairs
let me show you what's next
I hope you like it
it's a bubble bath and some wine by candlelight
I'll sponge you down with kisses
then we can do the business
if you want
the night's still young baby baby

[Verse 4]
you've got my undivided attention
there will be no interruptions
I've unplugged the phone
the nights all yours
I've been so busy and
perhaps it's my fault
but now that I have got some time off
I'll do anything you want

[Chorus]
I'll do anything you want
do anything you ask
to try to make things easier
you're wish is my command
I'll do anything you want
whatever you desire
and I know it may seem odd
but if you ask me why
I'll tell you why
no particular reason hey
'cause I just felt like doin' somethin' nice for you today

[Verse 5]
There's no women in this world
who can do all the things you do for me
I can never measure up to you girl
but please believe
that I'll try harder to make things easier
to prove I'm worth your time and
make sure I keep you mine oh...

[Chorus 2X]
I'll do anything you want
do anything you ask
to try to make things easier
you're wish is my command
I'll do anything you want
whatever you desire
and I know it may seem odd
but if you ask me why
I'll tell you why
no particular reason hey
'cause I just felt like doin' somethin' nice for you today

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Head > Heels
Ed Sheeran
“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.

Another Love
Tom Odell
I think the meaning is pretty clear. This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. It's lovely song, and very sad. You can really feel how defeated and frustrated he is with himself.

Sunglasses at Night
Corey Hart
In the 1980s, sunglasses were a common fashion for people who wanted to adopt a "tough guy" persona (note all the cop shows from that era -- Simon & Simon, Miami Vice, etc. -- where the lead characters wore shades). So I think this song is about a guy who wears shades as a way of hiding his insecurity after learning that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He's trying to pretend that he's a "tough guy" to hide the fact that his girlfriend's affair is disturbing him.
