Pantomime Lyrics

Same as it ever was
Hands on arm
No one armed
The air to breath always there
Never once thought to care
You garnished it
It seems to fit
The mood
You
Lay in it
The stage has past
Begin

Just once
Time it
Same frame
No luck
Two count
Still here
Worse off than I started
Backed off
Notes apart
Stand up and except this award for
I cant stand the start that I made

Im locked into my own
Is it too much
Thought in such
The signal to lock the door
Locked me in
Forced to grin
So ill turn(x2)
It off

Just once
Time it
Same frame
No luck
Two count
Still here
Worse off than I started
Backed off
Notes apart
Stand up and except this award for

Same as it ever was
The air to breath always there

awesome song with awesome melody and voice. I'm so in love with this band =D

I don't know what this song means. But it seems to have something to do with taking things for granted but not being able to start over in a different way? I'm not sure, but that's what I think.

my favorite engine down song of all time. i love everything about this song...the guitar textures, the drums, keeley's signature melodic minor key melodies...as far as what it means, i agree somewhat with tweph as far as taking things for granted, however most (if not all) of ED's lyrics are so vague and obscure, it's probably impossible to tell for sure, unless you asked the band themselves for the meaning. not that obscurity is a bad thing neccessarily..it leaves room for open ideas and personal interpretations.:)
