This song is timeless, and nearly 20 years after its creation, still possesses the mystique it did the first time i heard it ~1994. To me, at first blush, all those years ago, it had some kind of homo-erotic allure. The line "so that the others may do" tells of something which must be done for others to follow suit. It felt like like some kind of roxy-glam-pop invitation to sexual liberation.
Upon further introspection I think the song may not have an intrinsic meaning, but simply represents a sort of "holding open the door" for people who otherwise might be affronted by this song/band's unusual style. I know, as a sort of armchair rock-historian, that there have been few bands so daring and so true to the sound that wanted to emerge from within, whether the creator wanted it or not. This band handled it with elegance and grace seldom, if ever, seen.
Yeah man, this shit here
Finna be bigger than the OJ case (what?)
This dick
Another blast from the Long Beach section
Straight gangsta shit (wake up)
I thought these fools knew
Out on the scout, I'm about my papers
'Cause ain't nobody doin Deee no favors
I'm tryna get major with minor risk
Maximizing the minimum but time is spent
On the heist, nice and easy, believe me
I take mine and make mine extra cheesy
Keepin' niggas in a headlock
Undress 'em, press 'em down in a full nelson
I hit jacks off six-packs of the crooked one
They slip and I'm bookin' 'em
Fuck fingerprints, gimme from their fingertips
Chips to the neckline 'cause I got a TEC-9
Check mine like a pimp main hoe
So hope you only see me when my grip ain't low
I go up in ya like a skeleton
So S-N-Double-O, please let 'em know the crew I'm bailin' with
Eastside L-B-C
Is what I claim, but my gang is DPG
And every hustler in my clique got to get his grip
And in my world, a girl is considered a bitch
Is money all that makes you move?
You ain't doin' what you're s'posed to, so you gots to prove
Somethin' to the ones you love but you need to know
If you ain't doin' it for yourself, it don't matter though
It was a wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Just to wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up
Get up, get up, get up, get up, get up
I break fools off like Leprosy
If they dare even stare when they next to me
I'ma threat to whoever sweat my style
Hard gangsta, aim to represent to death
Reality, you battle me, you'll be in the dirt quick
I'm clever with whatever type of weapon I work with
The bare hand man sleeper
I even banked up and shank motherfuckers in the penta
I seent a gang of tough fools in my time
So try me, you're liable to lose on my line
The .44 will be the craps you hit
'Cause that's exactly what I'm 'bout to cap you with
I figured niggas gettin' soft like gelatin
So Doggy Dogg, tell 'em all who we dealin' with

Hmm, go on and work that motherfucker and do the percolator
'Cause Snoop Dogg came back with the head raider
Al Davis's? Nah, nigga, Tracy Davis (uh)
The Eastside Long Beach greatest (mh)
Criminal with style and boy, you love that
Sit back, relax, and let me drop another rap
But this one's for the sisters and not the hoes (hey, hey)
The ones who be groovin' at all the step shows (hey, hey)
Let a nigga in, I ain't diss your friend
And like The Staples, I make sure we do it again
But don't blow a nigga up or show a nigga up (uh-huh)
And don't think a nigga sprung 'cause you know a nigga fuck
Love is a house and you got the key
So give it to a nigga like the D-O-double G, I'm from the

Blank Space
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift
This song is Swift's response to the negative reputation the media has given her.
"I can make the bad guys good for a weekend" - the bad guys are the paparazzi to Swift, but are good to the "player" since association with Swift immediately gives publicity. Any publicity is good publicity and Swift knows this.
"You can tell me when it's over" - the tabloids rumor relationships are over before the couple announces it officially.
With this song Swift is portraying the way she is portrayed by the media.
It is a sarcastic jab at how she views herself and how her "ex-lovers" only wanted to be with her to increase their fame.
I applaud the brilliance in writing about how you always write about relationships.
It is expected so Swift is giving the media what they want and profiting off the attention.

Moyet later described how her song "Goodbye 70's" had been inspired by her disillusionment with how the late-1970s punk scene had turned out, saying, "'Goodbye 70's' is about punk and not caring how you were dressed, and then I discovered that so many of my friends that I'd thought it all really meant something to just saw it as another trend... That's what 'Goodbye 70's' was all about, about how sour the whole thing became."
