Bent around my neck, the ideas passed down don't look so appealing. Not every one, but enough to make me turn and run. Generations unknown, but I'm sure they were all the same. I'm not writing off everything. The glass is half full, but I could never want to be like you I'm never gonna be thought of the same way I thought of you. No looking out the window, no running out the door, no lack of support. They'll never question how far I'll go for them, they'll never question because they will know.
