| It really sounds like he [the character] was sexually abused by his father and that's mostly because it's such a hurtful, profound topic that he didn't really say it, it's just subtle in the song. He also mentions his great great great great grandfather raping a native american woman, so... Yeah, it totally makes sense to me. The character hopes to crash his car because it's better than going home and he keeps saying he was "just more like his wife" and, well, the song title also says it all. Oh, and the sounds before he starts singing are really, really full of negativity. Anyway. | |
