Tori Amos – Snow Cherries from France Lyrics 7 years ago
It strikes me as a first love/losing virginity song. She loves the boy but he is distant and he "let me go sailing." He makes love to her but he's not in love with her and then by the end of summer it's over. "Riding" and "cherries" seem to be pretty straightforward metaphors: but brilliantly realized. The song crystallizes heartache in a very subtle way. Genius.

The B-52's – Dirty Back Road Lyrics 9 years ago
I'm pretty sure it's "Reckless driving".
And yes, since the song was written by a band where all the male members are gay, I'd say it's safe to conjecture that the song is indeed an extended metaphor for gay (anal) sex. The B's love their double entendres! But it's a great song at face value. Sad, wistful, and erotic all at once. It's about how attraction can make you lose your common sense, like an out of control car.
