should be "UN Beso" sweetest song. favorite part: En cualquier parte del mundo no importa la religion Por un beso de su boca Voy al cielo y hablo con dios Alcanzo las estrellas de emocion the part: Alcanzo las estrellas de emocion absolutely sends shivers down my back. It's heavenly. |
Jaymay – Gray Or Blue Lyrics | 13 years ago |
learned this on the guitar this summer. sweet song. very cute. about a girl who loves this guy but want's him to make the first moves although he's a bit timid. "grey or blue, not close enough to say"- he's too shy to look her straight into the eyes yet. she's waiting on him but it's not easy because it takes time. |
Two Door Cinema Club – Something Good Can Work Lyrics | 13 years ago |

Edward Maya – Stereo Love Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Couldn't have said it better than MCRfanatic this song get's me in a dreamy, happy mood :) it's sad but refreshing at the same time and because of the difficult discrimination between whether it's a happy song or not, it's so mysterious. I have it running on repeattt |
The Killers – Who Let You Go? Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I agree with fenderbender88 on his interpretation and would like to also offer an alternative idea... This song could also been seen as a guy questioning why he let this person go. Who let you go? - as in why would anyone, even myself have let you go. I have a friend who's in a situation with a boy that is similar to this. they've been together for ever as "friends" and he just won't let her go and vice versa. they tried dating and he felt he couldnt commit, but he didn't want to be anything less than before. And then when she hooked up with some other guy her 'friend' got extremely jealous stricken. He can't let her go.... but doesn't want to commit... "We could be friends And I promise that it won't get bad But hopefully that story ends Someone must have loved you Not the way that I do... You're missing what I'm trying to say Ain't nothing getting in my way But you ain't got nothing I never had So let's take it slow So tell me that's fantastic And promise me, you'll always sigh I find it so romantic When you look into my beautiful eyes And lose control " |
Spring Awakening – My Junk Lyrics | 15 years ago |
maybe to tie up the discussion from above, it's about love or lust from afar and the way the song is performed kinda represents how it's different for girls and guys (girls will dream and talk/sing about it and guys will masterbate) love the song tho! |
You, Me, and Everyone We Know – Do It Again (You're Not Making Me Want to Touch You) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
word to the alcoholism reference. this song is definitely about pretending to be something else or out of you own control through drugs just to try and get with somebody, a total reflection of what some people are like at college parties. yuk |
You, Me, and Everyone We Know – I Can Get Back Up Now (Feat. Max Bemis) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
first of all, this band is going to be big... It's new, pop sounding but not generic and sounding just like every other band on the radio I see this song as being an upbeat message reflecting the crazy old days when two people were together or maybe just good friends and moving on the person is able to stay on their feet and continue on strong this part is about how one person is doubting: "so why are you still saying I'm not when I already am? (you keep on kicking me down.) (you keep on kicking me down.) and why are you still saying we won't when we already are? But then the singer is pointing out everything is fine: "was there something I said to make you doubt I could get back up?" maybe i was trying to explain the obvious in the end, cuz the song is pretty self explanatory i think.... anyway, i'm excited b/c i expect to see great things from this band!! :) |
The Killers – Spaceman Lyrics | 15 years ago |
funny that this song came out the day after the elections... The songs coming from this new cd are definitely a unique new batch. Brandon's voice is really the main driving sound in the song, there isn't much guitar or contrast in the background instruments and very little or no guitar.... anyway, "Well, now I’m back at home And I’m looking forward to this life I live You know it’s gonna haunt me So hesitation to this life I give You think you might cross over You’re caught between the devil and the deep blue sea You better look it over Before you make that leap" once again we see the reference to the devil and the liminality and the line btween evil and good and making decision. like in "When You Were Young" with "the devil water it tastes so sweet, you don't have to drink right now..." anyway, This songs seems to be about getting abducted and examined and possibly hypnotized in some way. Then about entering a new world and not being to sure about it but it's a turning point and he's left to deal with it. People are telling you that your the one who decides how things seem(the spaceman, star maker...etc. ) "it's all in my mind" sweet! can't wait for the whole album 11/24/08!!!!!!!! |
The Killers – Human Lyrics | 15 years ago |
The Killers came out again with another awesome song!! The music video was perfect for the song as well, with great cinematography, location and feeling. My interpretation: The idea of being human is the idea of being imperfect, thinking for ones self, and finding sympathy within one another. The idea of being dancer is that you go with the flow and get caught up in the beat, lost from your own mind. If this is referring to a relationship I'd say he's asking the question of whether they're just going along with the whole thing because it's happening, or if they both are in it entirely and emotionally. love it love it love it!! can't wait for the whole album on 11/25!!! :) |
Lil' Wayne – Lollipop Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Badge Man - "Shawty" is a slang for a sexy girl. you can look it up on urbandictionary.com (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shawty) about the song: It's unfortunate that it's so catchy and they would waste that awesome sound of the song with these lyrics because these lyrics are horrible and discusting. and to princehidalgo - it's the way that sex and violence is presented to youth that is the problem and get's the wrong idea conciously or unconsioulsy into people's heads. |
Coldplay – Violet Hill Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"If you Love me, Won't you let me know?" If you believe in something... don't keep quiet about it... let the world know, do something about it!!!! Make something happen! Both in the cases of a relationship and war/political situations. It's better to stand up and do something, and not to just sit there and dream about it. |
Coldplay – Viva la Vida Lyrics | 16 years ago |
First i MUST MUST say that: Coldplay's sound has changed dramatically... it might take a bit of time for me to adjust, I know I'll get use to it because it's a great new sound, they have added lot's of synth ie. the violins or whatever strin instruments they are. I love bands who incorporate violins/cello's/viola's... that addition just adds so much... passion? maybe, idunnno it just makes the song feel.... fulll i guess. Well considering the name (live the life) and the upbeat, full, lively sound and the lyrics, i'd say the song is about the things that happen throughout life. The opportunities one has, the doors that are open, all kinds of interactions with other people, "I know st. peter won't call my name" - St. peter is the guy at the gates of heaven, so i'm guessing he's suggesting that either he isn't ever going to die b/c he's accomplished so much or done so much in his life....or else that mean's he's going to hell.... but i think the latter is the case... anyway i've got to listen to this song some more!! Can't wait for the whole cd to come out!! |
The Graduate – The City That Reads Lyrics | 16 years ago |
the chorus is really catchy. i have the acoustic version. i think the song is about going of on one's own- removing onesself for a while. idk hard to explain it's really whatever u make of it. the graduates are pretty sweet... i saw them in philly with the starting line. They opened the show and i must say they didn't sound to hot (bad balance) in concert but the sound on the cd is great!! they should keep it up |
