Shadows Fall – Pure Lyrics | 14 years ago |
In my opinion, the best song on an album of the best songs ever. Somber Eyes To The Sky is the ultimate album to be depressed to, especially if you've got relationship-related troubles. |
NO-CASH – Knowledge Is Power Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"Useless facts and lies of your white history" Okay, so Chris Cash is sometimes hard to understand but when I look up lyrics I can always figure out how it matches with what he's screaming. That's not the case here. In the song Knowledge is Power it doesn't sound like he ever says this line. It sounds like he says "misery" instead of history. I could be wrong, but see for yourself. |
NO-CASH – SICK BASTARDS Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Why does nobody know about this song? Sure, it's an unreleased song by an already difficult to track down band, but it is available on P2P networks. It's a deliciously No-Cashy song. |
NO-CASH – SKATE OR DIE Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm all about finding a deeper meaning in music (especially No-Cash songs) and while I admit that you could probably take that out of this song, it probably has a more direct message i.e Skate or Die. |
NO-CASH – BURN A CHURCH Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I don't think I'm very free. As a lyric in the No-Cash song "The Lucky Few" goes... They say that we're all free/It never felt that way to me. |
NO-CASH – Gasoline Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Come to think of it, I don't think this song has any specific theme to it; I view it as more of a goodbye song; sort of a parting message as No-Cash breaks up. |
Metallica – Disposable Heroes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
As the whole, Master of Puppets (the album of course) has a theme of manipulation and helplessness. If you look at the cover of the album, it looks like it is directly connected to this song. This song is the story of a young soldier who has been sent to war against his will, born to join the army with no say in what he would like to do with his life. The first verse is what he initially sees as he enters the battle. The part after that is his general speaking to his parents, in what I guess to be the soldier's imagination. He's dreaming about getting out of that hellish war. The general's BACK TO THE FRONT brings him back to his grim reality. In the second verse, the young soldier is a little more used to his surroundings as he fights. The war is violent and very long. The third verse, to me at least, is extremely moving. By the time the third verse comes along, it seems as if the soldier has been shot badly or hurt some other way, or is at least lost in the battle. Indeed, the words in the third verse sound like those of a man whose life is flashing before his eyes. Very moving song indeed, my absolute favorite Metallica song and vote for their best and most moving war song. -Mtude3 |
Sepultura – Orgasmatron (Motörhead cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song definitely has a lot of possibilities to it, but here's what I've come up with by thinking about it. The Orgasmatron is basically the evil train seen on the cover of the album, obviously of an entity of the fantasy world. The first two sets of lyrics are about real life metaphorical Orgasmatrons that wreak havoc every day - Religion, and politics. The final lyric set is about the real train that's out to mess you up. I don't know, that's all I could come up with. |
NO-CASH – Gasoline Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is simply an anthem to kids growing up in tough environments. A damn good one, too. |
Motörhead – Orgasmatron Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I've tried to look deep into the lyrics of this song, but there are so many possibilities and the internet doesn't really offer any explanations. Therefore, instead of making my head hurt, I take it like it is - with the cover art of the album as inspiration, the Orgasmatron is a giant train that'll fuck you up. |
