What do you think...is the Acoustic version better than the "normal" version? I personally love bth and believe Breaking Benjamin needs to to an all acoustic cd with songs from all three of their cds.

This song really speaks to me for some reason. A lot has gone on in my life this summer. Three of the most important things in my life were either lost or "damaged". My dad was diagnosed with a rare form of advanced cancer that has spread everywhere in his body. The same day, I told my gf of over a year and 15mins later she broke up with me (my first "love" i guess you could say). Finally, I'm a track runner and I have a degenerative knee and back condition that I can recover from, but its gonna be a long, hard road to recovery. All that happened in a weeks time. So when I heard this song today it gave me a renewed drive to get over my gf, to fight back against my injury, and most importantly, to keep fighting and supporting this disease my dad is afflicted with. When life gets hard, give it your all because even if "It's not enough" whats the point in quiting? "why give up? why give in?" Just put your head bown and plow through. The album is called phobia and this song, to me, is dealing with the fear of failure or giving up in even the most extreme circumstances when it seems that all hope is lost. It may mean something entirely different to the next person...but this song really inspires me to keep going, esspecially when my dad is going through something so much worse. Pray for him to beat this and keep it up Breaking Benjamin.

A7X is a great band...there is no doubt about it. But this song, lyrically, is my least favorite on the cd even though it is a decent song. I think its to political for a bad like A7X. They should be praised for their voicing their opinion on the war in Iraq and the Bush administration but i think its drifting away from the style that made them great. Anyone wish to rebutal? Should cause good convo. btw I support president bush and the wars in the middle east even though i believe certain measures could have been taken from both sides of our political system to make the transfer of power more efficient and save more American lives without losing face....

thanks dunndidit for the info...I love this cd cause it shows how a band like A7X can adapt to overcome the adversity they faced when Shadows went through that whole ordeal....I thought their last cd had an original sound...this one is def. unique...i think that Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are about equal in quality but this latest one wins by what i said earlier...the way the band overcame Shadows vocal injury makes this one of the best if not the best cd i have ever heard

This is an awesome song...one of the bands best songs from all 3 cd's....but did i miss something? why is there no screaming parts like the last one? I heard that M. Shadows blew out his vocal box and needed surgey to fix it...Someone please tell me if this is true cause i can't seem to find the answer on their website or on any search engine...thanks

I believe this song isn't really about a resistance to being converted to religion because then why would there be so many songs with Biblical references? I think its more about someone that he had a bitter fight with in the past that he hasn't forgiven. Now the friend needs help but only finds a hardened heart from what he did in the past...maybe a connection to the betrayal talked about from Radiant Eclipse, # 8 in this cd

I can't stand that everytime i talk to someone online about Blink that they always bash their new stuff. All it is is evolution. they adapted their style and matured it along with their fan base.Both the old and new stuff rocks no matter what genre anyone classifies it as.

One of the best Blink-182 songs ever. Its got heart, meaning, and its a more upbeat song than some of their other more serious songs. When ever i hear this song i think of this girl i really like that i have to leave behind cause im going to college.
