This song is so amazing to me... It is by far Staind's best song. I agree as to the meaning with Maniac, but I wanted to add that he clearly blames someone.. He does that in a lot of songs that he writes to a "You"... It isn't done a lot and he does it INCREDIBLY effectively. |

I like this song, and I think Hoobastank has POTENTIAL, but I have to agree with gk1... Hoobastank is DEFINITELY too concerned with marketability to be a band of any REAL quality... What's more.. Doesn't it bother anyone that the lead vocalists voice sounds almost EXACTLY like that of the lead singer from Incubus? No one? MTV sucks. |

If anyone misconstrues this as a love song (as I've heard before) they are INSANE... This is (in my opinion) a plea for a woman he's in love with to stay with him. He's admitting that things are crazy right now and that she has every reason to leave... But all he needs is time to fix things to make the relationship work again. |

I agree that this song has absolutely NOTHING to do with racism and has everything to do with being true to one's self. I believe the skin he mentions is actualy just a metaphor for his callousness.. STP really confuses me.. Every time they write a song about love.. I can't tell if he is IN the relationship currently or if they have already broken up (see Still Remains).... This song is OBVIOUSLY written about her having left already and he is still in love with her. It's really an amazing song.. Even the slide guitar solo makes me want to cry. |

This song.. Pretty easy to analyze.. George Harrison (RIP to the most amazing of the Beatles) is obviously proclaiming his devotion to his religion.. What's a little cryptic is the fat that he sort of mixes the chants.. Hare Krishna and such are hindu chants found in certain Hindu (and shoot off religions) prayers... Yet Hallelujah is part of Christian culture... I think that this just represents his devotion to pure spirituality as opposed to one specific religion.. I think.. Maybe.. Although he DID later declare his religious faith as a Hare Krishna.. I don't know.. This is a great song. |

I really can't say anything more except that George Harrison (in my humble opinion) was by far the best Beatle. If it wasn't for him, they never would've experimented with drugs and they never would've left their bubble gum pop era. Not that there's anything wrong with their earlier work...
