Jesus christ...I completely agree with what e money and everyone else who is supporting this song has already said. Who the hell cares if it was on a mainstream TV show, does it sound any different than it did before it was on the show? I'm just going to guess...no. So what if they're put out there for the rest of the world to hear...you should be happy for them. Isn't that after all what being in a band is about; being successful and doing what you love?
Sit down and think for a second...how did you hear about this band and this particular song? Oh wait, I bet it was because you heard of them/the song from someone else... Damn those people for spreading the world about such a good band!
ANYWAY. I originally heard this song on the O.C. I'm not going to lie. I love the show and a lot of the bands that I already listen to are featured...and I don't really care. I've been listening to DCFC (for example...who was also featured on the show) since I was a freshman in HIGHSCHOOL and I have yet to give up on them. But getting back to this song...it's such a classic and I think that Youth Group pulled it off perfectly. It's such a theme for me right now as I only have a year and a half left of college...which is kind of depressing. |

This is my favorite song off of the new album. And I don't care what anyone else says. On A Wire is absolutely brilliant. It was so wonderfully done. I like their new sound. I still like the older stuff better, but the new stuff is just as great. It's the Get Up Kids. |
