I know that I've been pushed away and that I've done the pushing sometimes. I guess it's easier to push than get pushed because you're not the one that has to deal with the fact that someone doesn't want you around at that point in time. But basically what I'm trying to say is: I can totally relate to this song, just like all the other ones on Hybrid Theory LP, and I know other people can too, they just hafta think about it. |

To me, this song means how everyone wants be by themselves at one point or another. They want to be alone because either they're mad at someone, someone is mad at them and they can't bear the burden of having someone of that stature mad at them, or some other unknown reason. For whatever reason it may be, that person does not the whole world to see them, for any reason at all. I know, personally, I can relate to this song, and every other song on the Hybrid Theory LP, because my family is constantly making me mad and I always wanna be left alone when I'm at home; so this song is nothing new to me. Or any other teens for that matter. I LOVE THIS SONG TOTALLY!!!!!! |

This song explains the unexplainable. It shows how people want to escape everyone and everything that bothers them. If you choose to runaway, then nothing will bother you. That's why I love this song!!!

This song is awesome because it tells you a story that someone else has already been through and how it totally changed them as a person. It changed how they feel about themselves, it's changed how they look at themselves in the mirror, it's changed how others look at them. It has changed some of the key points about that person; as the song goes on, it tells how they person doesn't know what to do with themselves because they're such a total mess and no one wants to be seen with them. It also tells the untold stories of those people who never spoke up about how they've been treated by other people and by themselves. Those are the reasons I absolutely love this song and this band. |

I can totally relate to this song because, not once, but many times have a felt so close to the edge that I was about to just break down totally inside. This song has such a powerful message that you can't help but relate to it. Everyone has felt like they can't take it anymore sometimes and that's what this song is talkin about. |

I love this song because it tells how everyone, even though they might not notice it, has multiple personalities because everyone has a person inside them that lets them know when they're doin the wrong thing and when they're doin the right thing. That person could be your conscience or it could be another human being waiting to escape or be discovered within you. I especially love this group because they talk about real issues that real people in the real world go through all day, and some times everyday. They've made it totally clear that just because they're famous that it doesn't mean that they're gonna be totally fake and talk about fake stuff that's never even happened to them or someone they know. And I love that in this group's music. |

The reason I loved, and still love, this song is because I love the way it tells a unique story; it's just like so many other Linkin Park songs. Linkin Park's songs find a pathway to your head and they get stuck there for a long time, and I really grow attached to songs that do that. They are a totally talented group that loves what they do so that makes it twice as better. I've never been to a concert physically, but I watched them on MTV's show, Unplugged, and they were tooo cool. They were hype so the crowd was hype with them and the energy moved with the entire crowd. |

I love this song totally because it tells how someone is losing complete and total control of their mind. Someone has driven them totally insane and they can't take it anymore. It also tells of how someone has longed for something that they haven't gotten because they feel that would be better for them.
