Hey deftonesgirl_57 they are definitely against Bush and Bush is not in favor of small businesses. While supports them (or so he says) its just a political tool. When was the last time you heard a politician say he or she didnt favor small business? A long as time ago. Everyone is in favor of small business just like everyone is tough on crime. You can't get anywhere in politics if you dont favor small business not only cause small business owners will vote against you but a whole lot of small business supporters (like myself) will vote against a politician who doesn't support small businesses. Now, past the usual every politician bullshit Bush is a HUGE supporter of BIG business. His tax cuts are much more beneficial to the rich than to the middle class and below. One of the things hidden in the PATRIOT ACT was a provious that repealed a previous law which made it manditory for companies to pay at least some tax no matter how many other loopholes they find. So basically everyone paid taxes no matter what, but now if you can find the right loopholes you can be exempt from paying any taxes at all. Anyways, this is getting long and i'm sure your bored now but do more research before making a statement like saying that GWB "supports small businesses that work their asses off" (as if there are any small businesses still around that dont work their asses off) |

quoth_the_raven you obviously havent looked at all the evidence. From your response i know you are very open minded but i'm still surprised that you havent heard the whole story. It apears that you have only heard what has been on most of the national news. However, i must note that the first time i heard mumia's story was on one of the newsmagazines (ie. 20/20, dateline) but i dont remember which one. the story they did on him led me to believe he was innocent and now i havent read a lot more about his case and i have no doubt in my mind that he is innocent. To begin with there are all the things th3n3w5up3rh3r0 mentioned. Plus another man has confessed to the murder as Maggot said. Mumia's so called confession was not mentioned until two months after it supposably happend. Two people were two testify for the defense and their testimony would have probably caused the jury to rule not guilty but one witness backed out at the last minute due to threats and the other was killed before testifying. |

They think money makes them happy but they know they are truly miserable. I love the line "the money you spend on running shoes could feed me for a week". Shows how shallow, materialistic, and fake those people are. |

This is one of my favorite Op Ivy songs (but they all kick ass). I think this song is about the hypocrisy of the church. They would send missionaries to "save the world" and when they dont succeed they just kill the people. The flag of "Christianity" that they used to defend their actions starts to look like the flags of all other groups who kill in the name of a cause. Its covered with the blood of the faithless and insane. Those that they could not convert. The dying authors burning books are dissenting opinions who are trashed. The church thought that they were supreme over all and those who questioned them deserved to die. "unconditional devotion unquestioning belief". "words carved in stone chiseled with sharpened bones of the ones who thought my righteousness was something to oppose". Killed those who dared to question the teachings of the church. |

I think it goes from way before high school and ends after high school. "Fun was cartoons Saturdays / Fun was staying up past eight" I remember i loved staying up late (past eight) when i was in elementary school. As i got older staying up past eight and watching cartoons on saturdays wasnt as much fun. The wrong crowd letting you in usually doesnt happen till middle or high school. I think this song is about growing up in general. |
