it's about that point when you stop being hurt and start being pissed.
she rejected him, and he questioned his self-worth, and he felt like he had no friends after she left him. and now he doesn't want anything to do with her. he resents her for having made him feel like crap. maybe she didn't even do anything wrong, she just didn't like him anymore. but now he can't stand her because she ruined his self-image by leaving him. maybe she just wants to be friends, but that's impossible for him, because he'll always feel like she has the upper hand. he feels like she's now taking advantage of the position she had established (in his mind) by dumping him. but really, it's not her fault. it's not his either. it's just what they've come to mean to each other. |

except that she's not really over him yet- the lyrics are totally spot-on in describing how it is after rejection when you've realized it's over but you still care enough to try to prove you're better, to the point where just taking out the trash is a token of success. |

he looks like kurt, a bit. doesnt sound like him that much though. too many people are trying to hard to sound like nirvana anyways. just cuz he doesnt sound like him doesnt mean he sucks.
i pretty much hated blurry but this one is fun to listen to. i dont think its emo though, maybe the lyrics but certainly not the music. its definitely an awesome song, especially for pre-party/club. |
