No Use For A Name – Dumb Reminders Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Love the song. I just saw NUFAN in St. Petersburg with Sum41. They blew Sum out of the water. Gotta love em. Nufan rocks! |
Willie Nelson – Maria (Shut Up and Kiss Me) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Yeah, this is actually a pretty kick ass song. Willie is still coming out with music that can get an 18 year old kid's attention. Go Willie! |
Linkin Park – Step Up Lyrics | 21 years ago |
Hey ths s th jo... nice site. How about getting it up and running before you tell someone to go check it out. For your information, dude, or whatever man, I don't really care okay my brah? How old are you anyway...? 14, 15? |
Linkin Park – Step Up Lyrics | 21 years ago |
To: ths s th jo. Wow. Once again, not to be outdone by a more intellectual individual, a complete moron crashes onto the scene with what he feels to be the most deep and meaningful philosophical thing that has ever been said. Crap. For your information, my new seemingly astute, downs-syndromic nemesis... and obviously you haven't taken a gander at my profile... I have a very wide range of musical tastes. In fact, there are so many artists that I respect and admire, as well as fully appreciate... that I regret to say they don't all make the list which I have collected on the "Favorite Artists" page. Also, all rap lyrics are not complete bullshit. The artists simply rap about what they know about. Someone like Lil' Wayne isn't going to get into politics, or rap about anything of any importance, because he has been a rapper since he was 16. All he knows to rap about is women, money, diamonds, liquor, and drugs. On the other hand, a rapper such as Mike Shinoda (if you consider him a rapper) is more educated as to how the world is, and the psyche of the human mind and relationship. Therefore, he writes songs about what he knows, and what he has experienced. Furthermore, threats and cat calls in music are done for one purpose : money. They are an attempt at record sales and publicity. It adds some interesting perspectives to the music industry. As far as my views and choices on music go, I could go on for hours about any number of artists... ranging from Elvis and the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Metallica, The Sugarhill Gang, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Vanilla Ice (sadly), No Doubt, Tupac, and many bands that you have likely never heard of... Alkaline Trio, The Weakerthans, Fifteen, Digger, Atom and His Package, Rancid, Circle Jerks, Spitvalves... Jesus, need I say more? I mean, the list goes on. I think you should take the advice of your famed Linkin Park before I bring you to tears. Forfeit the game. |
The American Tragedy – Fig Leaf Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I got the inside scoop from one of the guys in Built For Speed. Good times though. Funny story. Heh. Well, Stucco, answer me back on AIM sometime. |
The American Tragedy – Fig Leaf Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Whatever the case may be, this is one of my favorite songs. I must have the CD. It is necessary. I am from Tampa, FL and am being deprived by not having this CD as well as their newest release. Someone please help me! |
Linkin Park – Step Up Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Well, sean or whatever. While you were replying to what I wrote did you come across a thought in that tinly little head of yours? Perhaps my complete ripping on that kid was something that I thought about doing to put a stop to reading too far into the lyrics. In fact, at my own fault, I failed to explain that in a society where hip-hop beefs seem to be consuming a better part of the music, and a large part of the media for that matter, it seems trivial to draw your own conflicts from songs that are not meant to be aimed at a certain person. A bunch of people seem to think that Limp Bizkit was the target band of this song, and I was just seeing who would respond to this lowly claim. It just so happens that adidaskornkid and Chris Hodge illustrated my point very well. They draw their own artists, who they feel to be less than superb, and make a decision on who this song is attacking. Maybe you amateur music critics should leave the aim of this ballad to the pnes who masterminded it; Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington. "You’re new to hip-hop and welcome if your serious... But not on the mic --- leave that to the experienced." |
Linkin Park – Step Up Lyrics | 22 years ago |
hey adidaskornkid2002... with that chick-magnet net handle, there is no doubt in my mind that you are a prime example of all that is white cracker. as far as your opinion goes, you sir, are an idiot. linkin park is not saying anything about dre, eminem, or nelly. you are, to say the absoloute least, a complete moron. in fact, if you are " stickin' with the real shit ", stick with something that doesn't make you sound like an imbecile. everyone has their own style, you dolt. and if you are speaking on being a poser, what are you? adidas korn kid. three words that sum up your superb tase and class. when you are done rummaging through the trash in your trailer to come up with some change for the library computer, maybe you can come on by here and give me a reply with some insight into what REAL hip hop is. xzibit and eminem my friend? you must be joking. piss off. |
Linkin Park – Step Up Lyrics | 22 years ago |
I heard that this was a bash against Limp Bizkit... any thoughts about that? |
U2 – Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Good song. I can't believe no one added this song before now...... I had the soundtrack and it was my favorite song on the tape. Heh, the tape. That sounds so funny to say. I guess that's how the older generation feels about with the 8-Track. |
Lacent – bitch slap Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Lacent... give me a call when they actually finish a song and put out a record. I think Linkin Park, unlike lacent, actually has a record out that is doing well. Does anyone know that Lacent just has lyrics to their songs and no music written? |
The Riddlin' Kids – I Feel Fine Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Great song. I always get a good feeling whenever I listen to it, especially when it gets to the part about "excuse me now because the chorus is comin' up again"... love it. |
Hey Stroker – Superfly Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Good song. Good Band. |
Green Day – Knowledge (Operation Ivy cover) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
Great cover, especially at the live show. They have three audience members come up on stage and play while Billie Joe sings the lyrics. Then, he gives the guitar away to the kid who gets up on stage. Good times. Great band. Great guys. |
The American Tragedy – Fig Leaf Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This song explains the basic fall from grace experienced by Eve after eating the fruit from the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden. Before the consumption of the forbidden fruit from God's Tree of Knowledge, Adam and Eve lived nude and without lust. It wasn't until after Eve ate the fruit out of boredom and curiousity (some argue it was an apple, others argue it was a pear) that they first experienced shame for being nude, and felt lust towards one another. On a lighter note, after Adam and Eve failed in finding leaves from a fig tree, they later realized that they could grow their own bushes. Good times. |
Alkaline Trio – Nose Over Tail Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This song is one of the best I have ever heard. It explains everything felt by a teenage guy when he falls in love with a girl. That Matt Skiba, I tell ya... he is one smooth bitch. |
