This song is completely about speed drug days. from fucking it all up, rushing to meditate (getting high), knowing that I should've ate. Never being able to walk away from the dope, but still trying to hide it from everyone thinking that they didn't need to know.
Wondering about the past is something I do frequently, my bad memory follows me around. The good times never seem to last, the high never lasted. |

This song is Raine talking to his fans, "last time i talked to you you were lonely and out of place " is for all of his fans that have been with him snce the days of clumsy and have felt as down as him and with him. "watch you float away" is him watching his fans float away because they think he sold out. "somewhere out there" means that he knows that his 'true' fans arer out there, maybe not with him but they are. He is waiting for them though, and doesn't want them to stay away forever, for whatever reason. |

To me this song is about a guy totally wasted on drugs (not weed, but like something that speeds you up-like coke/speed) . People sweat lots when they are really high. 'Sinking deeper' would be sinking into the addiction or into the drug itself.
It would seem 'familiar' because it has been done so much before. The sun rising and setting shows the passing of at least one day which means this person can lose track of time for a whole day just staring, which can happen on drugs. |

This song is about someone that does too much drugs (like speed or coke i think) and they never go to sleep. The drugs will wear them out, make them hide and finally watch them die. "borrowed and betrayed", most drug users borrow money and betray their friends. "a shameless abusing"- of drugs. |
