The Juliana Theory is the best band out there to me. The lyrics are amazing.
To me, I think this song is about a boy leaving his home and facing the real world. He isn't doing too good out there on his own and his parents are telling him to hold on. They'll give the boy a hand if he needs it. He is confused and lost a part of him when he left his home. He wants to walk away from his life out on his own (hell) and wants to finally come home to where he belongs. That's my opinion on what I think this song means. I love this song so much. |

no offence to everyone in here who likes mtv or anything like that but bands sometimes do change once they get played everywhere. look at blink182. hardly anyone likes them anymore because so many little kids have gotten into their music. its not wrong to have kids into but its just weird. i listened to dashboard confessional long before anyone i knew got into them. and then you turn on the tv and guess whos on mtv. dashboard confessional. you can call me selfish for not wanting the band to get famous but some people in here are right. their music does change. it annoys the shit out of me to hear all the little preppy cheerleaders sing their songs when they dont even know what the meaning of the songs are. usually bands like that get overplayed and become sell outs. dont get me wrong. i still like them. i just wish things could be different. i dont like it when bands get famous and thats that. if you disagree, then ok. im not trying to criticize anyone. its just my opinion. so dont sit their and compplain your asses off. like im doing. |
