Crass – Asylum Lyrics

You knew this was originally taken away from the album -cencured by the pressing plant and replaced with "the sound of free speach", 2 minutes of nothing but the needle scraping against the wax...
Didn't he write the book five years later? Whatever. |

Some people can defend their drinking. Most not. If I would drink it would be to be self destructive, because then I want to go that way...eh...sometimes... |

NOFX – Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo Lyrics

Wasn't this song written when like NOFX was still pretty underground and it became like trendy to be veggie in underground punk scene even outside the hardcore and the anarcho scene, eeeh, maybe it still is... but it's rather a reaction against people in the punkscene and at the time like forcing people to be exactly like than to vegetarians. |

NOFX – Straight Edge (Minor Threat cover) Lyrics

Oh, and "pre-Marital sex"you must be fucking out of your mind, of anything Minor Threat was against it was rather religous jocks than PEOPLE who did drugs...
It's stupid to read lyrics like afterwards, (hmm now I start rambling about Minor Threat rather than NOFX but that's not my fault, )
I mean they did as much expressthemselves in interviews in fanzines and talikng to people , this is not like their whole message...
you probably think straight edgers are judgemental, what are you then... |

NOFX – Straight Edge (Minor Threat cover) Lyrics
| 21 years ago

"In 1983 three of the four members were into the straight edge movement following Minor Threat's first single, but we were never a straight edge band, OK?"
found on NOFX hompeage.
nazipunkfuckoff, it should be like this
"I don't smoke/.../At least I can fucking think/Ican't keep up, can't keep up, can't keep up/Out of step with the world" Now instead, you made veryone hating Minor ThrEAT.
whatever they wrote that song because with their (MT's) first single they saw something happened, and suddenly it wasn't a personal reflection anymore. "Straight Edge" is more Ians personal reflections against that punks all they did was sniffing glue all the day.So it was like protest against that and then it became the cool thing which I think was pretty stupid.
Michelle, It's not fucking for life, but it sounds cool to be true 'til death just as it looks cool with an X... But to start drinking when you're turning 18, or 21 or whenever it's getting legal is pretty stupid even if you don't consider yourself sXe...
Oh, NOFX is making fun of the song, rather than to be a parody, that's my guess... |
