wow. to me this is the best love song on earth. i love the way it's simple and deep at the same time. The imagery is beautiful, I can actually picture two people, on a car ride, amongst a comfortable silence that only comes between two people that love each other. When I listen to it,I can actually picture Ben looking outside the window, immersed in his own thoughts, ranting out loud without over-analizing what he's going to say. without caring what the person driving him home is going to think. To me this song is the best description of love. Comfortable silence, sharing thoughts with another person as they appear in your head without processing them. My favorite part is "I ask and you smile, with my feet on the dash the world doesn't matter." to me is saying that when you have found love in is purest way you don't need anything else, and how pretty much everything can be beautiful. |

I love everything about this song. I think that it summarizes what love is just so perfectly. The way it doesn't makes much sense "I love you through sparks and shining dragons" and how when it happens everythings can seem beautiful. "an empty coke can, a burnt out caravan." or the way it shows that when you love someone you notice the most little details like "the symmetry in their northern grin." God and I have to agree that it he sings with such feeling that she cares, it makes you feel so happy for the singer! god it's amazing. I love this. |

I think this song has two meanings. One quite simple that is explicit about a guy jumping off a building as he nears the concrete he watches people staring and turning their backs as he is about to make impact with the floor. The second meaning is like a methaphor. About a guy falling out off grace (that is represented as the building) and the concrete is the simulation of his downfall. The people turning their backs on him are people giving up on him when he need them the most. I always liked this second meaning better but... Im not sure of which tom was refering. |

I get the emotion of loving someone and being sitting in your room late at night thinking about him. Maybe Billie is talking about a girl that lived far away, but it doesn't exactly has to mean that. It could be the sensation of loving someone so much and having that person in front of you, but realizing you are never going to have him. I enjoy listening to this song. My story with these one is kind of peculiar. I never had heard it before, and one day my little cousin (that is addicted to Game Cube) brought to my house a game about skaters and during the game they keep playing and playing this song, but I never figured out what was the name of it. Weeks passed and I had resigned myself to never knew the name of it. But this past 5 of December I was waiting in the crowd because I was going to watch Green Day on stage (They ROCKED by the way!) and before the show started they place this song and everyone went mad and started jumping... and that's how I figured out the name of this great song and I download it yesterday and I can't stop hearing it now! Anyway... I don't really know what it means but I sense the idea of a crowd of people going mad and jumping because they are waiting to see their favorite band play (just what happened to me :D) It just makes me want to JUMP! |

It's trying to tell that everyone sees life in a different way and everyone takes different pads, but at the end the pads of life are inter-connected, and these inter-connections are the ones that make life worth while. The second sentence describes that when we are depressed we just need of a sad song that can define better the way we feel than what we can define ourselves. Wow I love this song! is just so... beautiful. Is about a guy who broke-up with her girlfriend and he misses her a lot. So everywhere he goes, or everything he does reminds him of her. "I'm hanging on your words like I always used to do" is holding onto somebodys ways... he still does what they (him & his girlfriend) did together. "The words they use so lightly I only feel for you" is one of the best lines... he wants her to know that words came out so easily when it talked about his feelings towards her. He really writes deep stuff, not like many bands. I think people should focus more on bands like The Ataris, Third Eye Blind, Jimmy Eat World, instead of giving all the credit to "musicians" who can't even write their songs. I like this song a lot, is really sad, and emotional. I think it talks about when someone you loved just died. You wonder how "you are supposed to carry on", but you know "You most go on". "I miss the seasons and the comfort of your smile" it gives me the feeling of missing someone who is not there anymore, and his/her advices and smile. Is just such a moving song. Kris is a really great lyrisist. "As I look out at these fairgrounds, I remember how our family split apart." is one of the most sad lines of the song. I'd always picture him being a kid and watching the fairgrounds with his parents, feeling happy, and then returning to those grounds years later and finding out how everything has change. "I don't think I ever told you, But I know you always did your best."reminds me of being afraid of expressing our true feelings toward a person, and in some way knowing that person know exactly what you feel. "Stay who you are" I wish everyone payed attention to this line, I think that no matter what had happen, you should always be yourself, that's the only way you'll be happy. |

I find so deep especially the last part, about wanting to find a buried treasure, but instead of finding that, you get to find yourself. Is just about life... about sharing every living moment with someone special and wishing it'll never ends. "Life is only as good as the memories we make" is the most true line I've heard. I like this song is just simple and cool... I think it expresses how hard is to get over someone you love and now is not here with you... so you just kept thinking how once upon a time you had them. I like the way he interpretates the seasons passing and he is still thinking on that person. the part of; "when the summer comes Iwill pretend that I don´t notice That this is when I notice most of all" is one of the best lines... I love this song! is really great since the first note to the last chord. 3eb is the most kick ass band on earth! they just rock! stephan's way of writing is so natural... this song is like being missundertsood, because you are different and you prefer to lock yourself in your world than have to change. "a stranger to the people I know" is like when you grew apart from your friends, and you stop knowing them and so do them. It also talks about passing through hard times at the point we think life has become pointless. I like the line of "Time goes by and I realice that I'm alright, you thought nothing will be the same but life comes round again" is basically saying that sometimes the dark days blinds us and we can't see the light... but sooner or latter something will begin to glow and everything will be normal again. The chorus I believe is saying this life is so twisting and weird, that it changes with the time so is like living many lives in one life. "To see you again is like another life, i feel the whole thing happen" is my favorite line! describing how by just watchin a person or hearing a song you have forgotten your mind transports you imediatly to other memories, to other time. I think is about living a very difficult age... when you feel like 'you don't belong' and you just want to leave to some other place in which you don't have to answer to anyone...
